“We usually hear and write bad reviews, but my experience with officer Carmona, badge #206, was completely opposite. I am truck driver and I was sleeping at the ramp off of I75. No parking signs are all over the ramp, but as many truck drivers we do have to occasionally sleep at the ramps when we run out of hours due to driving conditions and can’t make it to the preplanned destination for break. The officer woke me up around 3:45am, informed be that I can’t sleep there (which I was aware), but he listened to my reasons why I was parked there. He asked for my ID and registration for the truck, and went back to the patrol car. Usually when that happens, they will come back with some citations. Especially when they see that I was arrested before for resisting police officers, and I am sure he saw that. However, he didn’t make assumptions that I was a bad guy, and he kept treating me with respect. Which was mutual, I treated him respectfully as well. He gave me a warning, and even said where to move and park legally which was only 2 miles away, but I wasn’t aware of that spot. He is a brave, polite, and an officer that we all wish to have more of. If Mr. Carmona treats all people like this, he should be promoted so more officers are like him. Thank you officer for being human and I hope you never change in your interactions with public.”
