“My visit to WendyWorld was both fun and informative. Grounds were well maintained and the park restrooms were clean. The manager, Ken, was both friendly and extremely helpful. He gave us a thorough understanding of what and how everything in our motorhome works. The park is adjacent to a eatery with great food and ice cream. We loved our wraps and will definitely return. Ken also gave us information about the Gap Trail, fishing the lake and a beach that's near by. The park is especially popular with the hikers and bike rider's on the GAP trail. There are bunk houses and showers for rider's doing the trail from Pittsburgh to DC. Prices are reasonable and beds are comfortable. I hope you get the opportunity to visit WendyWorld soon.”

“This place had the best value when I looked for a weekend trip in a busy touristy season. It was a cozy, friendly and convenient stay, 5 minute walk to King’s beach, which was free and nice for a late afternoon swim. The rooms are dated, but clean. The shower was hot with good pressure. The towels were clean but a bit old. We had 3 fans for the two rooms, which worked for we are not there during the hot days and the nights were cool. There was a small room with board games and ping pong. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The pool was not working. There are tons of shops, cafe’s and restaurants within walking and short driving distances.”

“This hotel is a hidden gem. After staying at other hotels on our 7 day vacation, this place was nice to end with. The only major issue was we booked online through a 3rd party. We booked a king sweet but the hotel only had a double queen. That's great after sleeping in a double bed the night before at a lesser quality hotel in Kalamazoo for $35.00 more. The price point was great. The one bed had a small stain in the sheets, the shower stopper would not stay up room 326. If I was the property owner, I would continue to ensure routine maintenance is done and upkeep. You have something special here. This room should cost well over $130. but for the low price point in the $80's with the comfort of a Hampton Inn is remarkable. Please keep the maintenance up and don't let this place go into disrepair. I enjoyed my stay.”

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the goat walk. It was a unique and delightful experience that our children absolutely loved. The goats were playful, friendly, and incredibly well cared for, reflecting the love and dedication that the hosts, Doreen and Jeff, put into their farm. Speaking of Doreen and Jeff, they were the epitome of excellent hosts. They were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their passion for their farm and their animals was evident and infectious. We learned so much about farm life during our stay, thanks to their willingness to share their knowledge and experiences. The farm itself was well-maintained and offered a variety of engaging activities. We also had the opportunity to observe other animals on the farm, which added to the authenticity of our farm stay experience. The pigs, in particular, were quite a spectacle and had a lot to say! In conclusion, our stay at Sunrise Farm of Wisconsin was nothing short of amazing. It was a perfect blend of relaxation, learning, and fun-filled activities. “We recently relocated from Detroit and didn't want to try and pick an place to live without first checking out all the areas around Tampa. We found In Town suites and from the moment we got here we felt very comfortable and at home. The rooms are spacious and laid out very well to maximize space. Everything is always clean. There is a crew that is cleaning the grounds both night and day and housekeeping is always making sure everything is ok and asking if you need anything. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. It truly is like a little community back here. The manager is very patient and is on top of it all. He made checking in very easy for us and no matter what is happening, he always has a smile and is eager to help. We definitely recommend staying here if you need an extended stay.”

“A nice, quiet, and totally amazing place to stay. The representative-Ray was very kind, experienced and helpful. We stayed there 1 night but definitely will come back. A very reasonable price for a day or more stay. Ray was very accommodating and understanding, checking all the appliances.The place itself is very clean, next to a wooded area about half a mile away from the main road. At night, it was quiet and incredibly relaxing. They have heat which we didn’t use as the blanket was very warm and cozy. They do have a fully stacked kitchen, so all you need to bring is a few groceries if cooking in is what you want. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to Big Bear! Thank you, Ray.”

“We visited the camp grounds and stayed over night in site 6. The grounds are pretty spacious and most seem to be pretty level. It was pouring rain and thundering the night that we stayed but we had no issues. Note, there is only one real outhouse type bathroom area near the camp grounds that’s closer to sites 2 and 3. It’s a very nice bathroom though with motion lighting and kept very clean. Traveling to the restroom in the middle of the night through is not for the faint of heart so be prepared. There are a lot of water based merit badge opportunities available for the scouts including swimming, canoeing and sailing. Everyone there seems friendly and helpful. For example we were able to switch sites the day we arrived without issue since the site we were scheduled for was pretty muddy. Anyway we enjoyed our stay and recommend visiting for a fun scouting adventure”

“We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was very clean and every interaction with the staff was positive. Even when passing in the hallway, they had genuine smiles and a friendly greeting, and I thought that they must enjoy working there. I contacted the front desk about 2 maintenance issues (loose toilet seat and leaking dishwasher) as well as a request for fresh towels. Every request was attended to in under 30 minutes. Our unit had a 1 separate bedroom and 2 full baths. This was a great layout as our son was with us and using the sofa bed. The kitchen is small but well supplied with dishes, cookware, etc. The location across from the Fairgrounds makes traffic very busy on Fair days, and we did plan our outings around that. If you are a good walker you can get to coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach on foot.”

“Our wedding day was magical and perfect. Beth & Steve were so professional and wonderful to us. The horse and carriage ride was an amazing experience for us! It was an incredible way to spend an hour or so completely alone and just go for the ride in between the ceremony and our dinner. Covid wedding planning is not easy; you really have to get creative but this was an amazing detail that made the whole day feel so special. “I have been with a group several times, and ALWAYS it is SO refreshing! I love falling asleep to the "clip-clop" of the horses pulling buggies, the fresh air and the lovely surroundings outside and inside. Sherry is a wonderful hostess! She loves antiques and puts them around very lovingly. I feel like I've gone back to another time and another place. We're just about to go again and stay in the newly renovated Guest House, and I'm very excited. The town is just two miles away, with all kinds of shops. My favorites are "Great Stuff" and several others.”
