“We recently rented the “Lake Diane Retreat” for our annual family vacation. There were 9 adults and 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). The house and property are beautiful and very spacious. I loved that all the bedrooms, kitchen and living area were all on the main floor of the house. The kitchen in the lower level was also an added bonus. The pavilion down by the lake was really great and that is where we spent most of our time. The kids loved the swim platform and slide (as well as the adults). The owner has all the amenities that you need and is very responsive to your needs. He is very meticulous and takes great pride in his property. The lake itself is beautiful and was not busy, which was awesome. The sandy beach area was a pleasant addition. The cement driveway all the way down to the pavilion was great as I use a scooter for mobility. Unfortunately we did have a couple of mishaps so I was thankful we purchased the insurance. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.”

“First mobile home community I've ever lived in. Was a bit nervous due to everything you hear about "trailer parks". Lived here for 2 years now. Very clean park, well maintained, quite and peaceful. Nice neighbors, great managers who are very responsive. Due to inflation, prices for housing is skyrocketing. I have a 2 bed/2 bath place that costs me less than a decent apartment. Lot rent + all utilities average me $700-$800 per month. I looked at cheaper parks and yeah they were a bit scary. This one has a swimming pool, playground, basketball court, free car wash, laundry room, vending machines including purified water filling. 3 mins from the freeway so quick easy access to most places. Very happy I ended up here.”

“Friendly staff. Woman owned park! It’s a small community and everyone is very friendly. Of all parks I’ve stayed at, I super loved the feeling of community here. The wash room is fast and convenient. Location is amazing. Great ocean breeze. A little ‘old school’ with the keys and garage doors openers, and hand written correspondence, but I actually appreciated all of these touches after a few days there. You really feel like family or a community here. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. ❤️Manager is named Nancy or Linda, I believe. She was such a sweetheart! ❤️❤️ The owner is a very direct and friendly woman — and that is very much appreciated! Love this place!”

“I've been camping in Alaska for over 20 years and I am amazed that I have never been to Finger Lakes State Rec Area. It is such an awesome little gem of a campground right in between Palmer and Wasilla. It's beautiful, clean, spacious, and quiet. And there is a boat launch for the lake, which allows motorized boats. You can fish on the lake or off one of the two docks. Fishing is supposed to be decent, but my friend and I had zero luck catching anything. The reason I gave 4/5 was the price of the campsites are really expensive per night ($25/$35 per night for tent/premium camping). I think the high cost becomes a bit prohibitive for the average camper and there are more cost friendly options along the Wasilla/Palmer Highway.”

“Our main reason for liking this campground is Carol Miller. She has made our stay very pleasant. The site is a very clean gravel pad with 3 hook-ups. When she realized I needed wi-fi, she had it hooked back up immediately to put me back in business. I do want to caution anyone pulling a trailer of significant length..... I only have a 22' and was quite unnerved at some of the twists and turns getting here. The road is in very bad shape coming South out of Bethlehem (470).”

“*Note:* I didn’t stay at the hotel because it was undergoing whole property renovations when I stumbled across this absolute gem of a property. Husband and I were trying to find parking for our destination: the neighboring Grille at Riverview. Parked in the lot for the hotel with the signs: “Parking for Hotel Guests Only.” So we ventured into the lobby of the hotel to ask whether there was designated parking for the restaurant. The historic property is gorgeous and obviously period without being dated or stuffy. The lobby boasted a bevy of handcrafted and artisan sale items, all tastefully displayed. The two staff I encountered were both exceptionally polite, helpful and knowledgable. I am enthused to book a trip with them in the future but absolutely suggest a stop-in to enjoy the lobby and wares.”
