“Very open and very close to the beach. The building was two stories with the bedrooms on the top floor and the living rooms on the bottom with all you can want: oven, stove, washing and dryer, two sofa, a huge TV, and a small porch in the back. Very comfortable place to stay for a few days!”

“Hospitable and accommodating! Beatriz is an amazing host. We rented out the entire venue for two nights for my daughter and family and wedding party as the wedding was held up the hill from the lodge at Bridal Veil Lakes. So much thought and love is put into the decorations and the entire ambience of the venue. Beatriz was very patient with me over the five months when I would send her questions since I wanted everything to be really perfect for all of the guests that would be staying there. She was always very responsive. Everything was clean and safe and homey. This is a great place to stay!”

“I’ve stayed here many times and they always go out of their way. Today Phyllis Cooper (excuse the spelling if I got it wrong) once again went out of her way to get me room. They’re all always so polite and accommodating that it’s hard to put into words. If you’re coming to this area, in my opinion, this is the only place to stay.”

“Friendly staff and. Comfortable clean rooms to some extent. The hotel is a little outdated but the real nice draw iss the indoor pool. Really nice sized pool that was clean and looked recently renovated. Certainly worth the swim door the kids while it was snowing outside. Will stay again if I am back in the area. Breakfast was a bit frustrating without any protein choices like eggs or sausage. It's pretty much a carbohydrate festival of packaged oatmeal, waffles, bagels and biscuits.”

“Beautiful, tranquil, and lovely. I am a new york city girl who needed to get away. Walden on the Pond meet all my expectations and more. I felt like I was taken back in time. I was a victorain lady of leisure for a week. The main inn and the cottage was decorated lovely. Everywhere I looked was pure eye candy. My daughter's came down with me, when it was time for them to leave they were already making plans to return. I spent 4 days relaxing, painting, sipping tea, sipping wine, and enjoying some much needed alone time. The best thing I was able to bring my fur baby. The owner was a living doll, she made you feel at home. We never did have our glass of wine. No worries, God willing, I will be back. If you are considering this oasis for a get away, stop wasting time and book it. Tell them LadyPam sent ya. Give my love to the duck family.”

“We've been coming to Siesta Key for years, and this was a great find for us this trip. The location is perfect: 1 minute walk to Beach Access 2, and a 5 minute walk into the village. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, with everything you could need in them. By far, the best part is the owner, Brad. We planned our latest trip (sort-of) at the last minute, and when we first arrived in Siesta Key had some minor issues with our room. Throughout the whole process, Brad was patient, understanding, easy to get a hold of, and did everything he could to accommodate us and quickly fix any problems, definitely going above and beyond any expectations! I can't say enough good things about this place and it's owner! Parrot Beach Cottages is a hidden gem in the village of Siesta Key, and we will definitely be coming back!”

“Me & my good friends played frisbee golf in this beautifully landscaped huge park lawn with a nearby & playground that the kids really enjoyed. Swings, slides, monkey bars… all with gorgeous views of the valley. We also walked through the neighborhood "nature paths" made by the kids playing but also does highlight the wild of the nature & the clusters of fruit trees & naturally placed wafts of wildflower patches. A cool 🏂 place to rest & chill with good buddies. *The dogs loved it too.”

“We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights over Easter weekend, 2023. I don’t typically patronize ‘lower priced hotel rooms’ but my granddaughter booked and paid for the room. Thankfully, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. We didn’t use the pool but many other guest did. It was clean and well maintained. The building is older and some aspects were evident of its age. Overall, everything was super clean, bed linens were extremely nice, all laminate flooring vs carpet was a BIG plus! There was a microwave and a 2 door mini refrigerator with a nice sized freezer. No coffee maker but they offered free coffee in the lobby. The shower had the hottest water I’ve ever found in a hotel room. We both agreed that it was nicer than we expected and would go there again in the future. It was less than a block from a beach park and restaurants.”

“Really nicely run RV park, clean, secure and well looked after, and the location is amazingly convinient to Phoenix just as it is to everything Arizona outdoors. I stayed here for about two years while working in Mesa and will never hesitate to return. Thanks guys!”

“We stayed in our travel trailer here for 3 months. Julia, the office/park manager was a life-saver! At the ladt minute, late on a Saturday she told us to park it and Monday we'd sort it out. After having been ripped off at a "resort" in Austin this was a huge blessing. The park is CLEAN. There is a lawn service who does a great job. We were on an end and loved it! There were no dogs loose. No dogs barking. We moved because it was 45-60 minute commute to hubs office... so now we are half the distance. However, no concrete pads. Dirt and rocks! Julia keeps everything together. Classy, efficient lady.”

“This is a large beautiful campground with camping options ranging from cabins, yurts, tent sites, and rv spots with full hookups. It does use well water which has a faint oder, but you are in the middle of the mountains so this wasn't a surprise. The dog park is a nice big open area with a pond close by that has a couple ducks and occasional geese visits (you can see it in one of the photos i posted from the dog park). Lots of places for leash walking your dog too! The rv spots are good size with gravel lots, nice solid wood picnic tables and fire rings. Although we were here in the winter and didn't get to enjoy them, there is a nice playground, gameroom, pool, and mini golf. Good price laundry machines on site. Our wifi worked great, but we were close to the office, so this could vary throughout the park. Plus, it is in a great location to enjoy all of the historical and nature areas these mountains offer. Lastly, the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only reason for 4 stars is the price. It is corporate run, and I think corporate run places are usually more expensive. In my opinion, they should charge about 100 less for monthly rates especially in the winter since most of the amenities cannot be used at this time of year.”

“Just a small, wayside park, but it's a WWII memorial purchased in 1947 by the citizens of Elba. It has beautiful river scenery across from the Astico campground. They do have a porta-potty during the summer, a charcoal grill, a spring fed waterfall of sorts, and a picnic table.”

“I really like this place. Management and staff are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are simply furnished and clean. The noise level from freeway traffic is tolerable. Even in the back (where it's loudest) it is still okay. You're within a few minutes drive for food and Morongo Casino is only five miles away.”
