“Honestly, this place is fantastic! Clean rooms, clean beds. Ive stayed here quite a bit and for the price in this area, it simply can't be beat. I have never seen a beg bug here. Never! The only reason why i didnt give it 5 stars in because I really wish they had microwaves in all the rooms. I also think they should have vending machines...but the gas station across the street is PE open 24 hours !”

“I stayed for 2 weeks while we searched for housing, though I wish they permitted monthly stays so I could have had more time to search. Any way, the bus straight to Seattle picks up and drops off out front. Nice tv with cable. One block from shopping and fast food and directly across from a popular trail to walk and bike. No Wi-Fi that I was aware of. Mini fridge and microwave. Quiet and comfy. Would stay again.”

“I feel I have to give this place a 5 Star to correct others giving this place an unfair 1 Star. This is a great little campground. I love the fact it is a true campground not a place full of people living here year round. The grounds are kept very nice and tidy. The pond is a nice place to go for a walk with the dogs and cast a fishing rod. There is a small dated playground but at least it is somewhere for the kids to play. The desk person was extremely nice as was the person who escorted us to the campsite. The sites are fairly level and rain drainage is great considering it has been raining for days there are no puddles to deal with. The laundry room was clean and had 5 washers and very fast drying vintage dryers. The bathhouse was extremely clean and in good working order. The key elements to a campground were met: clean, safe, level, good power, good water pressure, clean laundry room, clean bathhouse and a VERY reasonable price for water/electric. Now the downside is the train. It is about 50 yards from our site (we were 1 of the closest sites). However, we use the fan all night and keep the windows closed, so it drowns out the noise. But if you are a light sleeper or in a pop up/canvas sided camper you may have issues. The highway is close as well so you do hear the highway but only when outside walking around. For us that is a non issue. It is easy on and off the highway and gas stations nearby which makes it a great stop over place for a few days to visit the area and the Ark. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.”

“Cosy. Clean. Cute. Would stay again. A small bnb in a small town. Decorated beautifully but not too much that I was worried about ruining anything. A pint size kitchen (I don't think there was a stove) with a sink, microwave, and a frig with breakfast and snacks stocked. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is part of a big room that the master bedroom is in.”

“5 STARS - We stayed at Montgomery Bell State Park over the Veteran’s Day weekend. Fall foliage and cool temps made for a great camping weekend. Our campsite #85 had both water and 50/30 amp electric for $29 per night. The site was adequate size for our 27’ Airstream and truck, however big rigs will not fit on this site. The camp grounds were very clean and well maintained and the park has miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore. A very nice campground in a beautiful part of Tennessee.”

“This hotel is great especially for the price. Other similar places in the area were double the price. It feels like an old school family friendly motel. Beach is literally across the street. Staff is amazing and will help you with anything you need. They have beach towels and chairs, pool toys etc. great little pool with nice ambiance and good music with lots of seating and shade. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette with microwave as well as a big dresser and closet area. Looks like it was renovated recently and you can tell they didn’t just do a cheap face lift but actually updated it. Loved our experience.”

“First of all the standards set by this establishment have boosted what I would expect from other hotels, etcetera. Your front desk staff was friendly and outgoing, she had a smile on her face and said hello when I walked through the door. Gave customer service the whole way through. Secondly, your rooms are amazing, simply gorgeous! They look like a studio apartment and reminded me of the studio I had many eons ago. The bed was comfortable and the room was super spacious, I loved being able to get my work done in comfort. The only downside was not being able to turn the mini fridge into a blast chiller or have a mini freezer in the fridge. So I wasn't able to properly keep my ice packs frozen for my insulin. The breakfast was a decent one and the lady was nice serving the food. Kept the area very clean. I hope when I'm back in the area this is the hotel I always stay.”

“I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. I have visited twice in the last three months. Once on a girls trip and another with my family of four. I don’t typically write reviews but after reading a few negative ones I felt inspired. This place is beautiful. Private pool and across from Manatee beach. Anything you could possibly need is so convenient. This beach is in my top three and I’ve traveled a lot of places. The house is clean and modern. Also has anything you may need. Bonus* rafts and beach umbrellas and all you could ever ask for in the kitchen. The owner’s are so amazing. Alan and Donna are attentive and super down to earth and made our experience special. “Pictures do not do this place justice. Stunning desert landscape views from every turn. Grounds are impeccable and the neighborhood is very secure and private. Just from our backyard, I saw birds of prey, bunnies, coyotes and even a bobcat in the distance! Pets are not allowed but that might be a good thing! Residences are spacious, luxurious and fully stocked. My unit in particular (Hogan) had bakeware, board games, an Apple TV, baby walker & 4 fireplaces. Clubhouse amenities are limited due to Covid but you can still order breakfast/lunch at the restaurant. Housekeeping is currently every other day. We had the in villa massages and I would definitely recommend them if you want to treat yourself. Countless golf courses & hiking trails nearby. A lot of dining options ranging from special occasion to casual a short drive away. You definitely need a car because it is a little isolated but worth it. Seeing wildlife from our "spool" (aka hot tub) really made the trip. We were very comfortable here and I wouldn't hesitate to return again.”
