“The room was quiet, comfy, bed was perfect for me and I have back problems! The staff was kind and always helpful 24/7 and do mean 24 hour's a day! I have a service dog, she had good places to walk and go potty, and in the 10+ day's I stayed here we had some pretty good snow storms, access to take her out was great! My son, and my 3 granddaughters came over to go swimming and jacuzzi, they had a blast, everything was clean and well kept! And the breakfast was a nice touch, and nice variety! Overall, very good! “Thank you to our superb host, Julie!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Stargazer Ranch. This place is peaceful, she has the most comfortable beds, lots of wildlife to look at, we walked the property having coffee and enjoyed wine in the evenings in her outdoor pavilion. Great place to host an event or wedding too. We highly recommend staying here verses a hotel or other AirB&B. We have already booked another week here in December.”

Taking care of things for me down to accepting my mail for me and making sure my needs are met with what I need. Very professional! I would also like to acknowledge the lady in the dining room in the mornings,Cheryll. She does an excellent job at preparing and setting everything up. Also,she is never late and most of time early to get things rolling. Last but not least is the lady who just started. Her name is Carla,she does a very exceptional job at customer service and being knowledgeable with taking care of her responsibilities. I have been working in this area for a little over a year now and staying here. I have no complaints with the staff and their services. They are always willing to help me with my needs,all the way from the morning shift to the lady that works over night , all the way to the maids and the lady that does laundry. Very good staff with good attitudes. They make things very easy for me.Very good to me. Thanks guys!”

“My lady and I stayed at Starlite way back in 2011. And like many others who have left reviews over the years, we had nothing but an AMAZING experience. I believe we met Larry when we checked in, he was kind and funny and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in one of Starlite's vintage campers, Lucy was our gal! She was perfect, including pots and pans and linens and I recall even some salt and pepper, which we forgot to bring :). Bathrooms were spotless, grounds were well kept, and other campers staying at the park were kind and respectful. It was a great trip, and the beginning of a healthy shift in our lives to travel more. Years later we bought our own RV, and are now considering a campground of our own in the future. We're quite thankful to Sylvia and Larry for the experience and environment they've built together, and chose to share with others. So, why am I leaving a review a decade later? Well, for starters I wasn't as hip to Google Reviews way back then, so this has been a long time coming and is certainly well deserved! But also because recently we've determined that we'd like to live long-term on a campground, and have been checking out long term locations in CO, NM, MN and OR. It dawned on me last week to check and see if Starlite offered long-term stays, and to my surprise, that's what they do now. Seems there are some folks* out there who don't quite get the business model. Sure, some campgrounds are all about the turn and burn. Campers in, campers out. I mean, what? Isn't like 99.745% of campgrounds out there all family focused? There are plenty of those. Starlite has always been a more unique experience, and with the vintage campers you already knew things were going to be different. So I'm not the least bit surprised that after all the floods and fires and god knows what else, the owners found a model that provides privacy, affordability, and perhaps more importantly, community. “We just had a fantastic weekend at The Roth and feel we have found a place we can come back to. The location backing onto the waterway with the Adirondack chairs out on the dock make a perfect setting for sipping coffee (or a cocktail!) and watching the boat and bird life. And the beach itself is just a short stroll away - and at the beautiful quiet end as well. Just sand and sunsets. The room was clean, sunny and well appointed - and the view over the water was really fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more.”

“Campground is very clean. The staff and the campers are very nice and helpful. There's a lazy river with a swim up bar. They do provide a limited amount of floating tube rafts but a few people brought their own in case they ran out. No one complained and it was allowed. They even have an air tank so you don't have to blow up your rafts. They do sell food and drinks by the pool area. The pizza was good. There are covered areas with chairs, tables, and lay out areas. Very nice campground and worth it for everything that comes with it.”

“Very nice hotel! Clean, quiet, comfortable. Convenient location. The biggest shower I've ever seen. Has a nice outdoor seating area. The breakfast bar had a vast selection, but nothing hot, and not much protein. (I came late, there may have been some earlier.) Sheetz is next door though, and several other restaurants are nearby. That's a very trivial complaint, though, and I had a lovely overnight stay.”
