“Pretty Good Spot For a Hangout, We were pleasantly surprise at the location and area is the best place to sit back and enjoy a beer on a hot day. The brewery located on the place is run by the most nicest folks you could meet. I enjoy every bit of the day talking to the owner Mike and the work they do to keep the place running clean and well. Beautiful place worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“The people that reside there are poor but there are facilities there to support these families and places where your kids can learn. I used to tutor there and the kids want to learn but they just need better care and more resources.”

“I really enjoyed walking here. So beautiful. In the lot you park at there is also a bathroom. and throughout the trails are trashcans and places to sit down and rest or eat at picnic tables. Very enjoyable. The trails are mainly gravel or impacted sand or dirt.”

“I love/d this little home away from home and set at a comfortable price! The owners are friendly, sharing and live onsite. The Guadalupe River is your backyard! There is a boat ramp on site as well. Its settled in a 30 minute drive to Texas' famous Rockport Beach 💚”

“Simple. Quiet. Gravel sites close to each other. Some lake view sites. Pretty lake. Friendly owner. Lake and pier for fishing, no swimming. Boat ramp. Fairly level sites. Laundry room. Bath house. Somewhat wheelchair friendly. Basketball hoop. Small playground. First time here checking it out. Rained off and on, which kept us from being outdoors more, but it was warm and no wind, as typical for this area. North Carolina is so beautiful.”

“One of the reasons our trip to Hawaii was so amazing is because of where we stayed! The beach villa was wonderful. The villa is right in front of the pool and lagoon #2. We were there during Halloween and the resort had a little Halloween event our 5 year old was able to participate in. The place was so perfect it made it difficult to leave. We hope to come back to Hawaii and stay here again!”

“We where going to camp on North Beach but there was a coastal flood advisory so we decided to venture into the National Seashore (US fee area ) . We had to pay $25 which is a 7 day pass (no other option if your staying past midnight). The camp ground was full at Malachite Beach and decided to head to Bird Island Basin! The campsites were 90% Full all with RV’s. We had our tents After driving to the end we saw a very Faint sing that said parking only for day use and tent camping ? There are no marked camp areas for the location but there are canopy’s and a picnic table too close the water! After deliberating with my spouse we decided it was be best to head to the visitors center and verify weather or not we could camp at that location? Once we got there we had to show them the are on the map! They agreed it was ok ! We headed back and set up camp! It was great but very windy and a bit chilly my kids and wife were awesome! I recommend the area just be aware of poor signs and when you enter the park I hope you don’t have to encounter the rude park attendant who took our many and treated us like were stupid! She could of at least smiled! My dream job was to be a park ranger! She looked like she hates it!”

“Great price-quality ratio! 💫 The hotel is close to the freeway, so it’s really easy to come and go to wherever you need to. Also, at walking distance there are several stores and restaurants, such as McDonalds, Starbucks, 7Eleven and Ross. The hotel has free parking. You need to request housekeeping one day in advance. They always did a great job and left body lotion, soap and shampoo. As well as changing the towels. At the front desk, everyone was always really kind and attentive. They had free coffee and hot water (If you wanted to use it for tea or an instant soup). Also, there were bending machines with snacks and drinks. The hotel has a poll. I didn’t went into it, but it always looked clean. The hotel room also has a mini refrigerator. Everything was quiet at night and we always got a good night rest! My only complaint would be the rug. It looked really old and dirty. I always had to use shoes/slippers in the room.”

“We're seasonals that were displaced from another campground that we camped at for 16 years. Coming here we worried about the lack of amenities we had been used to, but there wasn't anything to worry about. The owners are very friendly and work tirelessly from dawn til dark to improve and update the park. The ponds are beautiful and clean. My kids have no trouble swimming in the lake. I'm a harder sell, but that's ok because there is a plan for a pool to be added next season! There are plenty of fish in each of the ponds and the kids enjoy catching them. They are working hard to get community building activities going(Friday bingo, monthly potlucks) and the band they had for Memorial weekend was outstanding! The rules and expectations for campers are quite reasonable for that of a family friendly campground. They had no trouble offering ample parking and a simple sign in for guests when we had my husband's 50th birthday party. We also found the golf cart trails this weekend and can't wait to explore those more in the coming weeks! Prices are fair and folks are very friendly. We're happy to have made the move.”

“$55 for one night in the primitive area. Plenty of spots. Clean water. Able to burn firewood. Restrooms cleaned once a day at opening. So if you’re coming in n late be prepared for filthy bathrooms. Loved hanging out with the animals. Bring duck and fish feed.”

“I've been to McDonough, GA 4 times over the last 5 weeks and I made the decision to stay at the Quality Inn on I-75 South! I'm so happy I found this place. This hotel, although carrying a name brand, is run like a mom & pop establishment. The owner (Neil & family) do a great job to make sure the rooms are clean and presentable, the grounds are litter free and no overflowing trashcans which shows they are on top of things and the staff does a great job of making one feel at home, no matter what time of the day. Breakfast is always a pleasant experience with a great selection of foods to choose from. It’s even nicer that it’s free! (Don’t forget to tip!) When the staff knows who you are on a first name basis and they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, you know you’ve found a place to call home while on the road. I look forward to my visit again next week!”

“My family and I come here every year (as long as there is no covid) between Christmas and New Years. The staff is beyond lovely. They become friends by the end of the trip. They are literally always joyful and genuinely want to help in any way possible. The rooms are super clean and come with a kitchenette which is great for little ones. The have beach chairs, toys, boogie boards all as “take as you need”. Also the beach is directly across the street. Metres away. This has been a family tradition for us and will continue to be. The main patio has a TV, amazing pool, fire place and bbq. They will also pick you up in a golf cart to take you to restaurants when it’s raining or if you want to carry groceries home. Can’t say enough great things about this resort. From amenities to staff, everything is top notch.”

“I have been tasked to find a campground that offers seasonal (around 3-4 months) space for relatives from up North. I visited Ridge Manor Campground and was very pleased with my interaction with the staff, the amenities/activities, and cleanliness of the public areas. Shower and bathroom facilities were very clean. I was late in the season, so there were currently no spaces available. Ridge Manor is the nicest campground I visited in my search. Thank you to the staff for taking the time to educate me on your property and providing great information! I will be seeing you in the future!”

“Great marina, always busy but for a good reason, it's free! Wether your launching your boat, jet ski, or any other water vehicle. It is a very family friendly place it has a great view of the sunset if you're looking to take pictures. There is a public bathroom available which is very convenient. Bathrooms are well kept. A very nicely kept place overall. I go there often and am never disappointed with the marina. Nice place.”
