Each room has different amenities, so be sure to talk about what you need. The attention to historic detail is fun to explore while the rooms are comfortable and unique. Breakfast ...well, let’s just say my foodie husband would visit just for the breakfast! This is a labor of love and not a polished corporate location. Go with the flow and enjoy the break from the busy I95 traffic. Good restaurants nearby. Quaint tiny town that time has passed by”

“Rooms are smallish, clean, and a tad dated, but for the price it's a decent deal. Bathrooms are tiny, but the showers have great water pressure. Wifi leaves much to be desired but if all you want is a bed to sleep in for the night it's up your alley. I did not see a single bug or roach the entire time I was here.”

“Visited Menla for a site inspection prior to hosting an event here in a few months. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable, and eager to assist. The grounds and meeting spaces are beautiful, well manicured. Lots of love goes into this place, it's obvious. Enjoyed the wildlife and hikes, truly beautiful and very quiet. Perfect place for a retreat. Add their delicious food into the mix and you won't want to leave!”

“I stayed here for 6 months while on a travel assignment and I absolutely loved it. The park manager, Shawn and his wife Leeann are the nicest people and they go out of their way to take care of the park and the tenants. The park is clean, quiet and I felt safe while staying here. There is a laundry unit on-site which is always kept clean by Leeann (she does a great job and puts a lot of effort into it!) and Shawn was always available to get quarters from which was so convenient. I had food delivered here on a few occasions and no one ever had a problem finding the park. I loved that I was close to everything but it wasn’t directly in the middle of the city. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay here if passing through or staying long term in New Orleans!”

“We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. Lovely little hotel with clean rooms, clean pool, and friendly staff (thanks Ashley!) Super accommodating to our sudden travel changes. Our toddler loved the breakfast, had all his favorites. We can’t wait to visit family again in Sauk and stay at the Cedarberry. I can’t mention enough how clean the place is! We stayed in a 2 queen, super spacious and comfortable.”

“Had a great stay. Was here for a few days and really enjoyed the pillows the most. I brought mine just i. Case, but ended up very happy with the ones provided. We had the suite which had the jacuzzi tub in the room. Everything was super clean and spacious. Had some minor things like the tub in the shower was a little clogged and the fireplace cover was a bit loose. No biggie. Breakfast was pretty standard, but we'll stocked. Hopefully the pool will be ready to use soon. Overall though, we had a good stay and would recommend.”

“We stayed here for one-night while on a road trip with kiddos. The hotel was clean enough and parts of the hotel are updated. Staff are nice, the hot breakfast was okay, but the best part was the pool and hot tub. While the area itself was older looking, the water was crystal clear and clean smelling. Temperature wise this was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel pool. Usually the water is pretty freezing and I never want to get in with my kiddos, but not here! The water felt so nice in the pool and the hot tub was hot too (a little hot for me, but hot enough for my husband). I’ve stayed at two other Comfort Inns on this trip and we had the best indoor pool experience here.”
