Easy walk to the beach and equipped with EVERYTHING to make beach time enjoyable. No need to bring anything but sunscreen. Barbra had beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, skim boards, bicycles...you name it, it was there. Fully stocked with games, backyard games and hammocks too. (The tiki toss was a family favorite.) Thanks for the easy stay and wonderful communication-can't wait to find a date when we can come back!”

“We parked our RV here while visiting family over Christmas because it made for a short drive to their home. This resort is more laid back, in all of the best ways, and we loved it! We stayed in Spot 18 of Phase 1, which was conveniently located across from the restrooms/showers and the on-site BBQ place. Unfortunately, we did not get to try the BBQ this time since they were closed for Christmas. The Saloon was super fun looking, though, and I imagine having a good food place so close is an awesome bonus. They are pet-friendly, have affordable pricing, and everything was super clean. The staff was super helpful in helping us get booked and setting us up with all of the information we needed during our stay, too. We definitely intend for this to be our go to spot for future family visits.”

“This campground is much nicer than your typical campground, more like a resort! We stayed in a cabin which was really nice. It appeared to be newly constructed, all wood, comfy bed, many windows, and it had everything you'd basically want, all contained in your own private place! Plus it had an outdoor fire pit with a table and chairs, just perfect! We chose this for our stay because it was cheaper than all the surrounding hotels, and the fact that you have complete privacy was such a bonus. We would definitely come back!”

“I love this place!!! I live in my RV full time. After researching and calling hundreds of RV parks in the general Austin area before moving down, I finally found this new park advertised on craigslist. The owner, Ken, is hands down one of the the nicest caring humans I've ever met, let alone RV park owners I've ever met. He won't finish developing 2 spots yet because he doesn't want to disturb the baby bird nest!! He's always available for calls and questions. The park is so nice and tended to. I showed up not knowing what to expect and it's so nice and new. I have my own side and back lawn with built in sprinklers. He's even thought to turn them early enough that it doesn't disturb the early risers. It's the most affordable park I've found within 2 hours of Austin (it's only 30-45mins driving depending on traffic and if you wanna take the toll road). It's gorgeous with farm land everywhere but 10 mins from hwy 35. I have tmobile and have great reception. There's no wifi yet and the bathrooms are still under construction, but are looking super nice in a gorgeous building. The spots are paved with gravel and the road is paved with granite so it doesn't get hot to walk on in the heat. There's no trees but there's always a cool breeze since it's atop a hill and there's a large shaded porch to relax under away the community center building. The guests are all long term and quiet respectable folks. Again, can't rave enough about the ownership. Ken even helped me get my car out of the trailer, park, ams goes above and beyond to help you if he sees you struggling with anything. You'll love this place, I'm happy I found it!!”

“Super friendly staff! Hotel was close to shopping, dining, and beach access. Robert was knowledgeable about the area, offering several dining options as well as entertainment. Check In/Check out were easy and communication with him made after hours check in a breeze. Rooms are smaller (if you’re doing a bigger family vacation) but would be absolutely perfect for a couples get away. Living room area has a futon that my two oldest kids slept on while my youngest and I slept in the bedroom. Decor is cute and the amenities were great. Overall our stay was absolutely perfect and will definitely be one we come back to again!”

Our group has been coming twice a year since the late 1990’s. Many many great stories and good times. 27 challenging holes with large greens, several sets of tee’s, in a scenic serene setting. Houses are great, clean and comfortable. Old school photo…..”

“Was there for kids camp this last week. It was great! The services were good, the salad bar was amazing. The grounds have a lot of fun things to do. Glow in the dark dodgeball, rock climbing wall, 9 square in the air, Gaga ball, some carpet ball tables that could use a little bit of updating. The pond has the blob which is great, a makeshift water slide that isn't amazing, but works for kids. The swimming area works well and they have kayaks and paddle boats as well. Some of the cabins could use some updating, but there are just so many that it makes it hard to do them all. All of the cabins have air conditioning and lots of bunk room. I believe the camp can hold a little over 500. It's not the newest, most up to date retreat center around, but it's a good affordable option for most people looking for a place in the area.”

Mission Springs PCT Trail Camp

Address: Angelus Oaks, CA 92305, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Beautiful place to camp with a cool, clear, running spring. I backpacked in from Hwy. 38 and saw a number of Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers who also spent the night there. There are some metal horse corals, a few with shade and a gravity fed water trough on the others side of the campground. I came back and stayed 3 nights in July and there was still water in the springs and a lot of wild flowers everywhere.”

BR@TT - Brazos River at Tin Top RV Camp

“Hidden GEM!! As first time visitors, we were blown away! It's like having a secret riverside get-away, in the middle of gorgeous Texas Equine country. Tucked away off an old county road; horses graze just across the driveway, Guineas roam the lawn & you're only 15 mins from Granbury & Weatherford; ( ie: groceries, gas, Lowe's Etc)Nights are dark, and so quiet, you can hear coyotes from farms away. It's dark enough to see falling stars, often. The owners, kind hearted, genuine, well spoken and just a true joy to be around. It's hard to believe the park is less than 2 years old. I mean, it's gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful with big, old Oak Trees, the river is packed with families and INCREBLE CATFISH - shoutout to Eric :) We enjoyed our time here so much; that we are truly sad to leave in the morning! Thank you Jackie & Danny!”

Food was really good at the source restaurant. They have some of the most beautiful flower arrangements. Front desk staff was great and friendly. I will say the couch was not super comfortable.”
