“Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly! Our car broke down and we were stuck in Yulee so we checked in last night. They let us do a late checkout for free and then let us sit in the dining area until our car was ready. Would 10/10 recommend and would stay here again!”

“We needed a place to stay while our home was remodeled due to a slab leak. This home was excellent with a nice view and fully furnished facilities. One of the best parts was the gas BBQ. Ross was always on call and responded in minutes to any question or concern. The game room was especially fun for my teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 months stay and highly recommend this home and owner.”

“While visiting family during the Thanksgiving holidays, we decided to book a last minute hotel room. We opted to give AVID a try not just once but for three nights in a row. We were pleasantly surprised. From check-in to check-out, we had friendly customer service with a smile. The first night, we stayed in Room 417 with two queen beds thinking our son was going to say with us. The bed, pillows, linens & comforter were so comfortable! Nights two & three were spent in room 428 with a king size bed. Again, we slept very comfortably. If we had any neighbors, we never heard them. Thank you Raymond and team for helping make our stay wonderful! Next time we’re in town, this will be our go to hotel. Keep up the great customer service with a smile!!”

“Adorable cabin! Easy access right off the highway and the cabins are super cute, very clean and well supplied! Had a couple bottles of water for us and chocolates on the bed which our 3 year old loved! First place I’ve ever stayed that supplied a floor fan in the bathroom, this place gets me :)!! Nothing worse than melting under a hair dryer after refreshing shower so I usually pack my own floor fan LOL. Loved the area and the food truck in the parking lot with prime rib sandwiches was DELICIOUS!! Owners were super responsive to text messages and great communication! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“Views of Moore's Knob are second to none. It's convenient to Hanging Rock State Park. Staying in one of their cozy cabins is "glamping" at it's best. The host and hostess are friendly and helpful. There's a general store between the cabins and the park. There's no light pollution or traffic noise. We had a six-point buck wander past our cabin. Just beautiful.”

“Very nice and super clean park. They did a great job with the layout. We only stayed one night because we were in town for an event but we are looking to return asap. The pond area and jogging trail is such a nice feature. The bathroom/showers are private and make you feel right at home. Theresa is so incredibly helpful and just as sweet as pie. Her hospitality alone is enough to make us want to keep coming back. Our fur babies loved her too!”

“Got the family together for a weekend camp trip and had so much fun at Bear Run! Staff was super friendly and so helpful with any questions you might have. We rented primitive walk-in sites and they were perfect, private, and relaxing! They also have a little gem mining station that our son loved, he had so much fun getting to play in the dirt and water! The pool and playground were nice and clean as well, our nephews had a blast being able to swim! Also the arcade was a nice little stop to play some pool and entertain the older kids for a bit! Overall, I was so impressed with this campground and will definitely be back soon! Super family-friendly and an awesome place to camp if have little ones! Highly recommend!”

TV worked well along with the heat , A/C unit., on this cool damp and rainy night. Shower/ tub was clean and the water was hot. The wi fi worked well and the management was friendly. Sign outside office door said mask required, which is understandable as the office check in area is small. All in all with the easy on and off of I-95 and adjacent to gas station/ convenience store with beer cave make this motor lodge worth staying at. We stayed with our 2 small dogs and the pet charge was fair and respectfully understood as their was no pet dander present , (until we left). My wife is a retired maid for a white glove cleaning service and said is was only worth 3 1/2 stars as the wall edges had dust and need to be vacuumed with an edge attachment and the high part of the mirror was smudged 😃”

“The room was better than expected. I was impressed with the size of the fridge/ freezer and the kitchenette came with a sink and 2 burners so we could cook for our family. I also loved that they provided dishes & a couple small appliances and appreciated seeing a full size trash can (which is needed for a family of 4). We got a great price for 5 nights directly on the choice hotel website. And all of the staff I had encounters with we’re helpful and provided great customer service. I had went to get assistance last night with a few things I needed as well as some information on another weeks stay and (Lisa) was on staff at the front desk and although she had a customer over the phone and another walk in behind me, she was soooo kind and helpful. She gave me helpful information and assisted me in booking another stay for next week. I appreciate her friendliness and genuine kind hearted spirit more than she’ll know. Thank you Lisa & all the other staff Surburban/Quality Inn & Suites for an amazing experience during our stay.”

“Absolutely gorgeous, magical, sparkling yoga weekend at Ruby Retreats. Really well thought-out logistics made the stay comfortable and seamless. The catered vegetarian food was top-notch. Thoughtful decor touches included plush towels and a badass book collection in the common area. The nature walk from the lodging area to the yoga barn provides a lovely transition from social time to classroom time and back. A highlight of the weekend was the expertly facilitated drum circle on top of the hill with a gorgeous sunset playing in the background and the night sky milky with stars, topped off with a ride in the back of a pickup truck back to the lodge. I don’t know about you, but I don’t get to ride in the backs of pickup trucks too often, and my friends, this was a delight. Five stars: gorgeous venue, uniquely laid out and flawlessly organized.
