“I went with low expectations for business and was ok with it had hot water for showers, had tv, served a few meals a day, lots of different rules for various things that do make sense from a business standpoint. Overall everything was ok staff are respectful as long as you are and there was daily room servicing for clean linens and cleanup.”

“Stayed with friends at spots 18 and 19 in early October. We had sites closest to the main road which turned out to still be pretty quiet. We could hear the Kern River down below, and an easy minute or so walk down proved worth it. There was a bit of foot traffic by fisherman down the path behind these campsites, otherwise they were very private and were roomy with plenty of privacy. Bathrooms were close and fairly well-maintained, and a short walk away was the "Croc Rock" which was a fun surprise. Highly recommended!”

“Brought our Fifth Wheel to Harbor Landing based on a friends recommendation for a weekend spot to visit Cedar Point. I have to admit we were very skeptical at first. There were a fair number of older mobile homes being demolished when we arrived. It was late in the day so we decided we would be at the park all day and it wouldn't bother us. The owner assured us that this work would not be done on the weekend and it was not. After a trip to Cedar Point we spent Sunday at Harbor Landing - met the owners who had just taken over the campground who said they were starting a lot of work to update the feel of the park. We stopped by again in late October and spoke with the owners again and wow what a difference a month made! Looking forward to going up again this year! Very reasonably priced! Great sites! Nice people! When will on line booking be available!?”

“Nice campground right off the highway (you should expect some traffic noise). Very pleasant, helpful staff. We arrived late and they were having an issue with water. Staff expected it to be up and running that evening, offered us at discount for our stay. Water was still not working in the morning. We were only staying one night and did not need the water hookup. Some of our neighbors were not so lucky. Because of the cleanliness, ease if access and courteous staff we would stay again.”

“Overall this is a nice getaway for medium parties of about 50 people. It comfortably sleeps 14 with plenty of floor space for additional overnighters. With a quaint view of a large pond through a glass wall/doors this place will make you feel far away from the crowds. Minor pest issues and deck construction are the only reason I did not award 5-stars... Do expect a decent price on renting it though.”

“Wow! Beautiful location, grounds, common areas. We loved our room, the bed, the towels, the robes, the soap and bath salts. The restaurant was delicious. The shuttle to the airport was a great perk. We enjoyed the hot tub. The complimentary snacks were delightful. This is a 5 star establishment. I've already told my travel agent for his future cruise clients! The next time we are in Seattle, this will be our first choice!”

“Bee Island is a primitive site that is about a 3 mile hike in, depending on the route you choose. Easy hike, flat. Located in a oak hammock, just off a trail and an access road for rangers. Very peaceful. On the nights we stayed we saw lots of birds and listened to owls and coyotes during the night. There is a water pump that provides water but it MUST BE TREATED by either filtering, boiling or some other chemical means. It has a strong iron taste but it IS drinkable after PROPERLY treated.”

“I went to visit a friend that I used to work with. Living in a mobile home community myself I take notice of alot of things others typically wouldn't. The grounds were well maintained. No vehicles torn down up on jack stands, no refrigerators on the front porch or W/D er's for that matter. To sum up , very quiet, neat, well maintained community. I would have scored it 5 ⭐but I couldn't because the mobile community I live in is hands down one of if not the best in Nueses County. I do have to add the streets need alot of attention. My ratings are based off of a couple or family looking to get out of apartment rental blues and take first steps into the American dream , home ownership. This park has affordable homes for those who are ready to step out of apartment living and enjoy a little more of the private and personal living experience.”

The location is ideal, right in the heart of the action, walking distance between the village and the beach. I look forward to my next stay and wouldn't think about looking anywhere else!”

“I stayed here a last month with my girlfriend for the weekend and it was very nice. It ended up being only a 3 minute walk from the beach and the room had a full kitchen which was great. The owners/staff were both friendly and helped me with everything I asked. It was quiet and peaceful as well and I recommend it for any future couples trying to getaway!”

We have stayed in both unit options and they are equally as nice. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and accessories to make your stay feel like a true vacation. The location is ideal, steps away from the beach with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Beautiful Deerfield Beach, fishing pier and walking trails are out the front door. The owners provide beach chairs and towels for your convenience. The property is immaculately maintained with outdoor tables with umbrellas and chairs to enjoy the seaside ambiance. “This park is an anglers jump point for guided tours and paddlers paradise. With canoe and kayak rentals from 'Next Adventure' if you're an enthusiast of angling or ornithology the setting is perfect. They now have an RV dump ($15) and have a sprinkler system for the new plants. Walking/ biking trails gives access to the river for a little bank fishing. Or, if you love paddling, 'Next Adventure' has what you need. A boat launch and fishing charters are also available for your NW angling adventures. Coin op showers in coded bathrooms for paying guests so you don't have to fill your black and grey tanks. There are already grey disposal areas around the park.”

“Beautiful little campground. Mostly seasonal, but well kept. Short term sites do not have sewer, but the dump station is convenient for big rigs. We stopped here a couple nights to visit friends as we drove through the area, but it's also a great spot an hour from Cooperstown. It's a winding climb to the campground, but worth the trip even if it is just for the ice-cream. We would stay here again if we are ever back to the area.”

“New owners are wonderful people. The room I had was clean and comfortable. CATV, and Wi-Fi. I am a blue collar kind of guy, and stayed here three weeks. And I would stay here again. This establishment is nostalgic. There can be no comparison with the major chains. If you want that "motel experience" crying out loud go there! Let is 'throwbacks' enjoy this gem.”

“D’Top Dog Grooming has been grooming my dog for over a year now. I was recommended to him when he was a mobile groomer and now he has a brick and mortar. He is the ultimate professional and the best in this grooming game. His prices are very reasonable. My dog gets all the ‘extras’ in his regular service that the large chain groomer used to nickel and dime me for. He has a customer for life in me. Do your dog a favor and check him out.
