“We had a great time! Our place at 103 was super clean and beautiful! We even saw the cleaners washing the outside window ledges with a bleaching agent. We just had to tip them! The pool was clean and our kids had a great time swimming with no worries. We will be back! It is close to every attraction that a family would want. Thank you for a great stay!”

“I talked to the front desk told him my situation and they worked out a monetary deal with me their professional they're generous I think the Management's fantastic let's get to the room my room well it smells brand new it looks like the bathroom was just done I got a large television in there I'm not here on vacation I'm in Banning for work so it's a great place to sleep comfortably I wish they had a washer and dryer for us but I don't think they do but this place is 100% worth your money and to all the people that leave negative well come on man it's not a Hilton or a Wyndham but you know that before you check in I think the place is wonderful”

“Two words sum up this charming guest house - Utterly Superb! My son and I chose to commence our holiday in California at this wonderful location and it was the perfect way to begin. After a long and tiring journey we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and a comfortable, clean and well presented room. After a perfect night’s sleep we felt refreshed and ready for our adventures. Breakfast was fantastic with delicious home cooked dishes (I still want the recipe for the homemade granola too!). The location is perfect for exploring and the beach is a short walk, the house is charming with period decor carefully and tastefully updated and appointed with modern amenities. I loved the piped classical music which gave a very calm atmosphere. The staff were attentive to our needs and ever friendly, providing great local knowledge to enhance our sightseeing and at all times my son and I felt welcomed. My only regret during our 2 night stay was that we were too busy to indulge in the cheese and wine served in the afternoon but judging by the wonderful homemade cookies and sweet treats left out for us, I have no doubt it would have been equally sensational! I cannot rate this guest house highly enough, in a world of sterile concrete and steel hotels which put business efficiency and guest turnaround before customer experience, this location provides the perfect and proper way to relax and unwind on vacation. I would (and will) definitely return in future. “The only reason I won't say 5 stars is because I feel like 5 star ratings should be reserved for truly spectacular places. It's comfortable and clean. Truly a nice place to stay. Rates were great. Very limited space means it's quiet and can be selective about guests, very much catering to returning guests. It's an older establishment that feels somewhat dated, but that is a big part of the charm. My room has a very nice bed, large TV, and a surprisingly large in-room fridge with freezer. The ceiling fan was quite a nice touch. The furnishings though dated are well cared for and the carpets clean and plush. The only real down sides from my point of view, as compared to an average modern hotel, are the lack of an actual tub (walk-in shower only), WiFi available through a nearby Wendy's, and non-smoking rooms only. Should mention there is no phone or alarm clock in room either. Very nice place at an excellent price if rooms are available. The perfect kind of place when you need an extended stay in the area. Come to think of it, -3 stars. Don't stay here for any reason. There aren't enough rooms available as it is, we can't afford any more returning guests.”

“This place was great! When you stay here, you get the whole bunk house to yourself with a private lake on an old farm. There are horses nearby and a dock to watch the water. The bunk house has a gas fireplace heater for the colder months. It's about 20 minutes drive to Shipshewana. Kathy made delicious breakfast including stuffed French toast one morning. I want to go back with the kids this summer.”

“Our family had a different house booked for Christmas but, at the last minute, lost it. I was scrambling to find a place big enough for the 22 of us. Carrie and Tessa were amazing! They worked so hard to make our last minute Christmas get away work. They answered all my questions so fast and clear and accommodated all our requests. They went above and beyond with personal touches to the house based on comments I made about our family. The driveway was hard to see from the street on the dark and rainy December nights. Carrie and Tessa went out in the rain and the dark and hung beautifully Christmas lights down the driveway. Not only did it help us see the driveway at night but it also added to the magic. We love Christmas lights! We were all so sad about loosing our original house but The Quintessa completely met our expectations. The only thing that would have made our stay absolutely perfect is if it had snowed. It snowed a couple days after we left. There are a lot of things to do on the island and the house had brochures so we could look at the different options.”

“The newly renovated inn was adorable. I didn't realize they closed the office at 9pm and was a little late but they weren't angry like some owners would be. They are very proud of the work they have done, as they should be, and walked me to my room to make sure I was happy with everything and to show me how everything worked. Instead of making me feel like they were doing me a favor by letting me stay, they seemed very grateful and made me feel very welcome. Prices were reasonable. If you need to stay in the area, I highly recommend the Buckley Inn”

“Lady at the front desk was polite, rooms are up to spec for the price paid and there is a closed road behind the hotel that works as a safe and convenient walking trail. Planet fitness and Walmart are a bit of a drive but I was here for work and my primary concern is always price and this fit the bill. If your looking for the four seasons keep looking but it's a decent place to stay.”

“The room was clean the sheets were also clean. The jacuzzi was AMAZING 👏 i wiped it down just for my own comfort...the staff was helpful.. Even though it's near the highway it was quiet 🤫 I will DEFINITELY be going back. The bathroom was clean as well. The lights were so romantic and soothing. Also they have a mini fridge and big drawers if you plan to stay more than one night. It's first come first serve the jacuzzi room is $225 from 9pm to 11am. I was very satisfied with my stay. Make sure you grab an uber or a cab because the train is NOT close by.”
