“I had a great time can't wait for my next trip there! I camped closer to the road and saw each vehicle pass by. Next time I plan on being closer to the river. With beach access available to all I really enjoyed having my coffee while watching and listening to river go by. If you're planning on going there plan on going during the week, you'll have better odds of getting a great spot.”

“I am from Texas and my whole experience so far with IOW has been nothing short of amazing. The owners are friendly and helpful the office staff have been very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and they are just a big family here. My job brought me here and i had to store my trailer until they got a spot open for me and i had front leg issues with my RV, they never hesitated to help me get my trailer off my truck and then when i got a spot they helped me move it and back in. I believe that goes above and beyond what they had to do. I am grateful that i found this place they are hands down one of the best RV parks i have stayed in. :)”

“The hotel has so much old school charm. It's like being able to spend the night in a museum. Yes, it's dated but I still love it. The rooms were decorated by families from Wilbur. So each room is distincttly different and unique. I don't think there's anywhere else like it. It was clean and quiet and the atmosphere felt like they already knew us when we arrived.”

“Our family has been camping here for over 20 years. We absolutely love it. My son just proposed to his girlfriend this weekend at the campground while the whole family was there. He wanted some place that had a lot of good memories. Thank you to the staff for being so nice and welcoming to our guests who also drove up for the day to witness the special event! Highly recommend Lazy Days for a wonderful family outing! Bathroom updates are beautiful. Rental trailers are always clean and comfy! Andy is super helpful with anything you need and the ladies in the office are always extremely friendly.”

“Rooms are very clean, very nice. Beds are to die for…so comfy!! Rooms have a mini fridge, microwave and good working air conditioners. Love the touch of the neon lights in the room, that was a bonus. Check out time is earlier than most at 10am but definitely worth the money. The only thing I would change would be for the room to have had a bathtub and not just a shower but shower was good too so all in all I gave a 5 star and would def recommend!!”

“4 nights aren't enough. We love the house and being so close to the city beach and town square. A must stay for couples. No Wi-Fi or cable but who needs it in this romantic place. 4th of July in Granbury is classic from this house. You can walk to the town square and the park at the end of the road had a rocking concert.”

“This was the most amazing place with fantastic host & hostess. We rented the Inn for 2 days to have the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Marvelous! “I stayed at The Neathery Estate for 3 nights as a local getaway from the wonderful but sometimes exhausting people who live in my house. :) I chose the Magnolia Suite and I felt at home from the moment I checked in. The grounds are beautiful, the decor is sublime, the food is delicious, but the hospitality is incomparable! When I needed a place to spend some quality time resting and reflecting, The Neathery Estate was the right choice. With the proximity to Downtown McKinney, tons of choices for entertainment and food are quickly available. Tiffany is a wonderful, attentive host whose care and love of innkeeping is apparent in every way. Thank you for such an amazing place to spend some time taking care of myself!”

“I have lived here since 2010 but one year I had my license wrongfully suspended and was only able to drive certain days and certain hours so when I went and paid my bills I got my money order for rent and as I was on my way home I forgot to drop it off on the 5th of that month. Later I got a letter telling me I didn't pay rent which was true. I finally looked in my wallet and noticed it was in my wallet the whole time. So I went and paid a late fee for the first time which on my lease you are allowed to be late three times before you can get an eviction from them. But I got evicted the first time and was taken to court because horizon did not accept my rent and the late fee the $50 and was charged $1,000 on top of rent. And believe me the list goes on. But I still pray for horizon management and I hope they get better and the park gets better too cuz I want the best for them. WWJD --- WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? He's coming back soon so we need to be ready and tell the LOST about the COST of the CROSS to God the father he plead for US. Did you get the message?”

“This isn't a resort but a Bible camp that needs maintenance. Great location and reasonable fees if you are looking for a rustic environment. Lodge is heated by a wood stove, restrooms are in separate buildings, cabins have only bunk beds and not heated, kitchen in lodge needs updating, and the camp area is only available to 501c3 organizations. This is an updated review as of July 2022. Above still applies but maintenance has improved with new caretakers plus some that i have accomplished myself.”
