“We LOVED it. We came with 7 kids and it was perfect. This campground is extremely family and kid friendly. It was clean, safe, quiet, and fun. The best part is the swimming hole, but watch out for Billie-Bob the fish that lives under the warf. Haha. The second was the tractor wagon ride around the property. It was a BALST. Thank you. “Fabulous hostel! We loved our home away from home. Staff were so friendly, everything was super clean and the vibe was great. Plenty of hot water even though it took a while to come through, kitchen was well equiped and lounge area was lovely with TV, games and lots of books. We were on the top floor so there were a few stairs to climb but no drama for us. A bit noisy at times but that is to be expected in a hostel, most travellers were very polite. We stayed for 9 nights and overall thought it was great, especially the price for NYC.”

“We had to put my husband here over Xmas bc he was sick and we didn't want him to spread it at our family gathering. The staff were all SO friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice, the bed was so comfy, and we were able to charge our new electric car! Yay! My cousins stayed here because it's the only hotel in town that allows dogs. We'll definitely stay here again. Thank you!”

“Quality Inn location Windsor mill 21244 from the owners, the managers, the house keeping crew, the maintenance crew, the check in crew Have been nice from the time I been here all the staff especially dealing with my work injury being electrocuted dealing with neurological issues. All the staff have been friendly and beyond nice and take the time to speak and check on me. This hotel goes above and beyond. The rooms are cleaned nice and cleaned above and beyond. The maintenance crew are the best and always on top of things getting handled in repaired in time. Check in crew is the best their energy motivates and engages me in communicating. This is great location laid back chilled you will enjoy peace in my opinion.”

“My husband and I spend 3 nights in the Lillian room! It was lovely but the best parts by far were Karen and Steve’s hospitality! They are lovely kind and generous people who work very hard to welcome and take care of their guests needs! They have done a beautiful job of renovation their unique historical home! I think it’s been 29 years of diligence to make a lovely get away for their guests! What an amazing contribution to their community! We especially recommend and appreciated the dinner for tow that Karen made us! Delicious! She is an excellent chef! We also love each unique breakfast and Steve blessing us by playing his fiddle! Our favorite part by far was the excellent message therapy in our room! Karen is an expert! We were very impressed and will definitely come again! Thank you so much!”

“This ground campsite is a day or two kayak trip away from Chokoloskee and Everglades City. A free standing tent is (almost) required because your tent is setup on a dock-like structure and tent stakes don't drive well into the dock. If you are creative, you can use rope or twine to tie each side of the tent to the end of the boards. There were two picnic tables when I was last here and there is room for at least 4 two-person tents. We fit three one-person tents on one side of the dock structure and could have fit another. You could do the same on the other side. It is totally peaceful out here, and depending on the time of year you may catch a beautiful sunset. Make sure to bring everything into your tent at night. There are mice living here that will fight over whatever you leave out. You'll hear them at night under the boards as they fight over what the camper before you left behind. Dolphins and alligators also frequent this site. This is a great spot to get away from it all as you head down to Flamingo.”

“I held my wedding here in November of 2023 and can't say enough great things about the venue and the staff. Jackie and Dana were amazing and so great with all of my requests. I know this venue is even adding electrical hookups on the lawn after suggestions (we had to rent a generator for our event). The space is beautiful and was perfect for our small wedding (50 people). “My husband and I loved our stay. We were celebrating our anniversary with a quick weekend trip to the Boise area and our stay was wonderful. We stayed in the train room and it was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was great, we both slept very well. The shared living area was very nice to have especially because we brought our 2 year old with us. We were able to put him to bed and watch a movie in the other room. All the extra little touches made us feel at home and very accommodated. Breakfast was delicious. Communication was also very good.”

“I had the pleasant opportunity to eat lunch here a couple of Friday's ago. I decided to stop at the Crossroads Inn and Motel as I was a bit frustrated about finding a decent fish sandwich (this was during Lent). Fortunately the hunt for a decent fish sandwich was over! Really, it was just perfect: the right size, cooked just right (not greasy, not overdone, etc.). Looked appetizing. The fries were awesome too! And, finally, I had coleslaw which topped off the meal being (probably) home made! The meal was second to none. The service was excellent. Very friendly, kind, and sincere. Atmosphere is wonderful; there were several customers there dining and it had that small town feel-the waitress (and owners too!) spoke to the customers and vice versa. Very clean, quaint atmosphere. Very decent prices and the selection from the menu is somewhat unique as you don't see the foods offered at the mass restaurants. Well worth the trip, you won't regret it!”

“We stayed at Mikes place for 2 weeks in the spring of 2023. This place is magical to say the least. It is remote enough that all you can hear is the sounds of nature; dark enough that you can see all the stars. The cabin is spacious and comfy with modern up-to-date amenities. Mike was the perfect host steering us to the wonderful sights on the Blue ridge Parkway. I highly recommend this place and Mike's hospitality. We will always stay here when we are in the area.”

“This is a very cute, family owned motel. The buildings are pretty old but the rooms inside are fairly up to date, and extremely clean (tile floors instead of carpet helps with that a lot). We stayed there after our RV site was washed out by the March 2023 rainstorms (don't worry, the only thing we lost of value was a fancy gas grill😀 Speaking of grills, the motel has a pretty nice gas grill and picnic area in the parking lot, and the pool looked very inviting, though it was a touch too cold to really think about using them. Oh, and the Cinderella is also dog friendly! Though be aware that if you're not, the owner does have a couple dogs of her own that she keeps in the back, and when they're out, they are a bit barky. That said the one dog I actually met while checking in was super friendly, and very excited to meet new people! All in all, if you're looking for an inexpensive, but comfortable place to stay in Hollister, I highly recommend the Cinderella.”

“We attended a work Christmas party here at this venue on Tuesday night. The place was decorated very beautifully for the holidays, which made that a nice entrance into the building. The Valet guys were very nice and the car was treated well. The party room we were in was a nice sized room, although the lights were a little too bright for the event. The food was a good selection of different types of dishes, buffet style. Bartender was very nice and helpful. our DJ was very good. The staff at the party were all pretty nice. Someone at the party dropped a glass and it broke and they cleaned it up very quickly and safely. And were very nice about it. The outside areas are very pretty with fireplaces and outside seating. All in all, it was a nice evening and was enjoyable.”

“We stopped in Key Largo for a few of hrs on our way to Key West and we’re pleasantly surprised with this stay. At the price point, we assumed it was a 3 star stay but it was great! The room was 2 floors with a bathroom and a half. The balcony overlooked the canal with live music just across the water. The staff was all wonderful and the room was so clean. We would absolutely stay here again.”
