“Camp hosts were great. They run a tight ship. Which is awesome. The rules are given to you after they check you in. It makes it easier so everyone is on the same page. It was quiet and clean. Showers were immaculate and so were the toilets. Make sure to grab firewood at the general store before you get up there. Just follow the rules and you shouldn’t have any issues. It helps for a comfortable stay for everyone.”

“This is no 5star motel! But for a good reasonable clean bump in the night it's a go! I been rocking with them since and 2000. Regular overnight is $71.40 They also have hourly shacks for quickies! I believe the 2hr is $40 and the 4hr is $47.25, they have smoking and non smoking and all the shacks are heated and air conditioned with mirrored ceilings. They also have jacuzzi rooms I forgot those prices.”

“An outstanding RV and fishing area on base! We lived here for a couple months as we were PCSing (thank goodness it wasn't the busy season yet because they limit you to 30 days max). It's on the far side of base, so it is quiet and secluded. There are not that many lots but they are shaded and good sized. The showers and laundry all worked well and were pretty clean. The area is beautiful to walk around or go fishing. Only downside is these are not full hookups (only electric and water). So bring a portable dump tank if you will be here a while. They do have a dump station on the premise, so still 5 stars.”

It was a great! We didn't need anything fancy because we were literally only going to be there to sleep. We stayed two nights. Easy and very friendly check in from Randy I think his name was. We had two rooms. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was grab and go but we already knew that! So no big deal! Coffee was great! Overall we would stay again!”

The outside grounds were very nice, as was everywhere inside we ventured. We will definitely be staying at this hotel every time we are in the area. The price was great, the hospitality was great, the whole experience was pretty great!!”

I love having Breakfast ready when I get back from Night Shift and it's the only local place to have a decent Hot Breakfast. The Owners are here quite a bit working not just letting the Hotel run down like so many do. Other than needing a few minor upgrades the place is very presentable and the price is fair. If you have a problem they seem to do their best to address it right away. A special shout-out to Stella who always makes Coffee for me and with a Smile on Her Face. Overall a Friendly Staff and Owners. I would recommend to my Friends without hesitation!”

We were ten minutes away from a ferry ride to Port Aransas. The prices for multiple rooms was excellent. We will definitely stay again and recommend you stay, too!”

Staff are all friendly, from security to front desk to activity staff. Can't say much about housekeeping since we didn't get housekeeping services during our stay. We stayed during Christmas week and there were daily activities such as crafts, bingo, socials, etc.”

“I had a very pleasant experience making a reservation over the phone, and my group was really pleased with the site when we arrived! Everything was clean, port-o-potty was readily accessible, and there was even a stack of firewood available for guests to use. The noise from the highway didn’t bother us as we hung out around the bonfire. The only tricky thing was finding the our way in—Google Maps tried to tell us we could get into the park through a nearby shopping center when the entrance is on Tuckerman road! Be sure to clean up after yourself while enjoying the park so that future visitors can enjoy it too!”
