Gorgeous hotel, Beautifully decorated and equipped rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in quite a while! I also have to mention the free breakfast. I loved the individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches! And I loved the cleanliness and And the helpful staff in the dining area! This will be a definite stop for me the next time I'm in this area! I highly recommend!!”

“They just reopened for day camp. My girls both loved all of the activities and had a great time. The pool is closed this summer, they are hoping to have it open next summer. We brought cooling towels and water bottles with misters and they were ok. The counselors have ice water to refill for them. Drop off and pick up was very easy, no lines.”

“This is a very nice B&B run by a lovely woman named Alice--along with her Great Dane named Stella. Alice took us for an ATV ride through her 100+ acre property--woods, fields, pond, creek. Heated above-ground pool. The house is fairly close to the road, but traffic noise did not bother us. Definitely recommend Alice and sweet Stella!”

“My husband and I stayed a weekend at The Villas at La Cantera Resort & Spa for a firm retreat. The entire Resort is absolutely beautiful and well kept but The Villas was especially exceptional! While staying at the resort, you feel secluded even though you're still in the city. The views of the hill country are amazing and there are often deer wandering on the greens in the evening. All of the staff was extremely helpful and courteous as well. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, I felt safe staying here thanks to the efforts being made by all of the employees. My one and only complaint was that the water in the shower did not get anywhere near hot enough. The tub was amazing and the water there got super hot so I don't understand why the shower wouldn't. Even then, I can't wait to visit again!”

There was also a slight smell I was a bit sensitive to when I got there, I think cleaning product of some kind, and I stopped noticing it after an hour or so. Not a real issue, just mentioning it for those that might be concerned about that.”

“I did not enjoy my experience. Never book in the summer time. They don't have an A/C, and the fans they provided weren't strong enough to cool the unit. They didn't help us when my dad misunderstood the map, and accidentally got the unit with three flights of stairs. My mother can't walk well and had problems with the stairs. We tried to get the street level unit with the smaller staircase but they wouldn't help us. I do like this place, but maybe not in the summer.”
