“The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was friendly and always said good morning when they saw us. The breakfast staff left a lot to be desired. The room was clean and reasonably quiet (mainly the heavy doors closing). Beds are comfy, lots of pillows! Not the best air conditioning, but we didn’t die. The bathroom and kitchen area in 123 was very, very hot; if we left the exhaust fan on in the bathroom and cracked the door, it helped to cool the room. We noticed a few roaches in the bathroom, but it’s FL… We would definitely stay here again. It was nicer than the other hotels we visited in the Miami area.”

I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a residential home for their loved one with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Memory care is all they do and they are very good at it. The facility is warm and welcoming, with nice resident rooms and several pleasant common areas to provide variety. There is a real family atmosphere there, and visitors are always welcome. The staff is very experienced and show real devotion to their work and real care and concern for the residents. They treat their residents with dignity and respect - like family.”

“I'm just finishing up my stay here. I came to recharge and connect with myself but ended up doing a lot more than that. John and Beth are wonderful people and their cottage is a little place in heaven. I enjoyed every second of it --- the conversations, the meditations, the treehouse, the hot tub, kayaking, and of course, the beautiful view! I feel extremely calm, peaceful, and refreshed, despite losing my phone in the lake (fully my fault!). John and Beth were so supportive during my visit and I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed . A mentally and physically stronger version of me is leaving with gratitude in my heart. I'll never forget this experience.”

“Easy to find. Close to shopping and restaurants. The room (and hotel) were clean. We didn't interact much with the staff, but they were friendly when we did. Bed was comfortable (firm mattress). I read a previous review that the website lied about having a pool. No idea where this comes from since there is a pool and hot tub (looked clean but no time to use). The parking lot was pretty full, but we never heard anything from anyone (nice, quiet stay). Typical hotel breakfast. Only compliant is it took a bit for the shower to heat up. Price was worth the stay. I would definitely stay here again.”
