Due to the storm, we were arriving a few hours early and there was no hesitation in allowing us early check-in. Happy Hour was fun and delicious. Breakfast was beyond amazing- it was our birthday and we were treated to the yummiest candlelit waffles with the birthday song. Our room was so comfortable- we did not want to leave! Norton Commons is an amazing spot with many restaurants within walking distance of beautiful Chateau Bourbon. If you are a Bourbon lover, this is the spot for you! We will be back!!”

“A hidden gem, nestled in the hills of Colorado Springs! We booked The Lodge at Flying Horse on a whim and am so glad we did! The property which the lodge sits on is phenomenal! The rooms were spotless, modern and most importantly clean. For a small hotel, this place packs punch! We felt so safe and cared for the entire time. The staff was delightful. We regret not having dinner at the Steakhouse, but will certainly be back to give it another try! We decided to celebrate our honeymoon here and we're so glad we did!”

We specifically asked them not to clean our room during our stay because on our last stay here they had thrown out stuff that was not trash and we had to track down Housekeeping and ask for our stuff back - some we got back, some we didn't. Breakfast is pretty short, served only from 6A - 8A and there's not much to be had even if you make it.”

“Comfort Suites in Kyle is our favorite hotel when guests come to visit. For me, developing relationships and connections with area businesses are a priority. Thankfully, I have an awesome rapport with the employees at Comfort Suites and therefore trust has been established. My 90 year old father came for a visit in December and to say I was PARANOID about his safety is an understatement. I contacted guest services and Christian reassured me their team would go above and beyond to follow COVID protocol. Additionally, the House Keeping Manager Maria took it upon herself to disinfect the room from top to bottom. Her demonstration of compassion and empathy alleviated my fears. She took it upon herself to ensure the job was done properly because that is what she would want for her at risk family member. During these stressful times their demonstration of empathy and compassion was invaluable. Furthermore, the circumstances were such that Christian was able to keep the room vacant for two days after the cleaning to ensure my dad’s safety. I am EXTREMELY grateful he was able to offer this extra layer of protection. During the reservation process and prior to my dad’s arrival we exchanged approximately six phone calls. Christian facilitated communication and was extremely patient which further solidified my confidence. Nate has been there since they opened and he too played an integral role in assisting me during the night shift. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of this hotel and more importantly the character of the staff. Thank you, Comfort Suites for choosing to be a part of my extended family!!!”

“I found Lisa through a Google search about 5 months before my wedding. I had no experience with wedding planning and knew surprisingly little about wedding ceremonies and traditions. As soon as we met with her, my fiance (now husband!) and I knew we needed to have her help. Her services seemed a little expensive in the beginning, but only because we did not realize how involved and how hard-working she would be. Before coming to her I had one giant list of everything I thought I needed to do. I really didn't have any order of operations for prioritizing my time and was feeling totally overwhelmed. She broke things down and helped me to focus on a few details at a time. And she helped us to make informed decisions regarding traditions and so many other details along the way with the kind of foresight that only comes from years of experience. Her experience also saved us money in a few areas by comparing vendors we had found to vendors she has worked with, and in addition to saving money, we loved everyone she recommended--particularly the florist! Lisa is incredibly thorough in everything she does. The day before the wedding, she arrived with a sketched layout of the reception set-up, a timeline of events for arrival of vendors, a timeline of the set-up, and an overview of the ceremony and reception. She provided copies of everything to the entire wedding party and helped us to smooth out our bumpy procession. On the day of the wedding, she and her lovely staff arrived promptly and began setting up. They stayed throughout the day, keeping things flowing, and assisted with clean-up at the end. I could not be happier we found her!”

Empty RV spots do not stay empty for long as these kinds of places are hard to find in the area. Folks are friendly and helpful, landowner is also helpful and doesnt hassle the renters.”
