Spot 9 is the best spot if you have kids because it has a large space and is right next to the vault toilet (which was kept up pretty nicely). The kids loved exploring the creek that ran through the middle of the campground as well as the large boulders. Great memories made!”

“We stayed here in the upstairs unit 2C, it is a low frills, clean, place. The owner is working on upgrades as the place had a slight smell of a fresh coat of paint. The design of the suite is somewhat eclectic, sort of a retro beach shack idea for many parts of it including the unique corrugated metal shower and the various surface boards. A pleasant stay all in all with some need for minor tweaks and upgrades in order to improve on what they currently have, but, a good value and a great base for activities around Vermillion and the Lake Erie shoreline.”

“Chris and his crew made our first trip on the river an amazing event. We were welcomed like we were family. The accommodations were perfect for a getaway on the river, the bait shop was stocked with everything you will need. I highly recommend hiring Chris for a day on the river, his knowledge of the river is second to none. He had us on fish within 10 minutes of setting up. He shared his tactics of fishing and the history of the area. The show the Eagles put on for us was just a bonus!!!! I would recommend Everts and Winchester Adventures to anyone looking for a great getaway.”

“I booked Jeremy and Chelsea's house for my family during my wedding weekend and I stayed with them for a night. My family all enjoyed their time there and wished they could have stayed longer. The patio and firepit were awesome to hang out at. We had a tornado warning and severe rain the night I was there. It was late, but they were quick to communicate and gave us access to the basement if needed. We'd certainly consider staying here again when back in the area!”

“I have resided at this Property for 4 yrs and through it all our Manager has made wonderful efforts to roll with the changes. It is a very peaceful place to live. My biggest complaint is our dumpster issues. I know that they come with no fault of our Manager, but is do to the setup which is basically open to the general public. I understand the reasoning behind it (do to the truck entrance) and also the society in which we live. I see people almost everyday drive up to the dumpster across the street and dispose of their personal household waste and drive off!!!!!😠”

Everything you need is either walking distance or just a short drive away. And most importantly I feel safe here. “Left my watch in the room. Went back at 8.30pm to pick it up Was told no manager was on site to allow them to get into the safe. Both managers had left. No managers work after 8pm it seems. Getting i On a flight and in told I can pay for shipping and insurance. The service agent was obtrusive and rude. Really liked the hotel, but not the after service. Very very bad”

“Hanna House is a beautiful and historic farm home. Frances the owner, cook, hostess and charming person is amazing. There is no air conditioning, but the night we stayed the evening was cool and comfortable. There are two screened in porches on the first and second floors that overlook the pond and back farm area. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The bed I slept in had a firm mattress which I found very comfortable. The other guests were very nice and engaging. That was probably due to the cooked to order breakfast and plenty of delicious coffee.”

“This is a quiet little state park I just realized existed. I came here for a special geocaching challenge that the Rangers set up. Not a lot of people here, so it was very peaceful and quiet – as relaxing as I was hoping it would be. There's also a small campground, and quite a few people in there today. I could not find a trail map, and the one on my phone wouldn't load a great deal of the time, but I quickly found out the trails are very easy to navigate. I took a side trail out of curiosity, and ended up standing in the parking lot where my car was. For the most part, it is accessible to all. There is what appears to be a hiking, or just walking, trail along the road, the whole way. I didn't see many people hiking, but the cyclists use the road.”

“The Lewis River inn, in Woodland Washington is set in the most beautiful serene, quiet and peaceful beautiful setting right on the river. It is where my precious Mom and I had the last click of the cameras shutter before I lost her 3 days later. I could not remember what room that she and I have stayed in, and Carol and Travis were the most helpful. I just want to thank them for accommodating my emotional needs of going back to the room Mom and I had last been in overlooking the river. They were very very concerned about how sad I was to think that I wasn't going to be able to be in the same room as Mom and I had been in, and they did everything that they could to make sure that I was and, I was. It was healing. Sitting out on the same balcony downstairs in front of the river remembering my Mom and me together was everything I had hoped for. “I loved my stay at Sea Cottages of Amelia! My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights in the deluxe studio and had so much fun. The rooms are clean and well maintained, with a glass shower, queen bed, large smart TV, and extra blankets with a comfy couch. The bed was a bit firm, but not horrible by any means. Shampoo/lotion/conditioner is not included, but there was a small soap dispenser in the shower (may have been a 3-in-1 soap?) that got the job done. Most importantly, though, this location is beautiful! We stayed in room #11, which was toward the back, and honestly, the walk from the car down the pathway to our room was always so relaxing and peaceful. It feels safe despite the rooms' more exposed and separate cabin-style nature. I would definitely recommend this beautiful little location. Oh, and the walk to the beach sands takes less than five minutes and is fully safe to walk! (Pictured is the view from our window on a rainy afternoon after a few hours spent at the beach!)”
