“FANTASTIC beach front location - 2 great restaurants literally across the street - convenience store one block away.....I didn't need a car, everything I needed was right there for a stress-less ultra-relaxing vacation. The staff, both Diane and the owner, were so, so nice and approachable. I traveled alone and my room was one bedroom, oceanfront...looking right at the waves. Super clean, comfortable and very cold air and ceiling fans. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker - plenty of linens. I didn't have to ask for a thing. Pool and hot tub are amazing and the grounds are very well maintained. I was literally so happy with my choice. Definitely independently owned (not a big chain name) - but so charming and literally, there could not be a closer spot to the beach. The restaurants across the street were great - Screwies (breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks), or Dockside Dave's (lunch, dinner, drinks). Both have inside/outside seating......the Grouper and scallops at Dave's.........soooo good. Thank you so much and I WILL return!”

Has storage units right next to it with overflow extra parking. The overflow parking is free. I really love how nice everyone is and how super peaceful it is. Feels very safe.”

“Amazing two days and three night stay.."HOME AWAY FROM HOME." MY husband and I had reservations extremely early to ensure we had a room with a king size bed and a whirlpool tub. I emerged refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. I think I will make this a monthly getaway.. leisure time. Staff was not really on hand and I am assuming we didn't get maid service because of COVID-19, but fresh towels could have been given as the used ones were left as instructed and garbage wasn't picked up. Overall the room was clean, modern furniture, spacious whirlpool that could fit two if your into that sort of thing (I love my me time when it comes to relaxation), room 302 also had a pretty good view. The pool and jacuzzi area was nice, a little to much chlorine in the jacuzzi though. I loved the huge closet mirror and the dining area for two in the kitchen area. My husband smokes and they have a nice patio sitting area outside from the pool or exit areas for smoking. Breakfast was premade and packaged in to go plates, they were still delicious and their lobby was beautiful. Despite what the website says there is NO ROOM SERVICE at this Hampton Inn location, but they do have a printout of the local restaurants in the area, after hours my husband found a nearby McDonald. I highly recommend you keep this location for you next getaway in mind.”

The beet salad and burgers were perfect and the chocolate peanut butter milkshake was bomb. The bar had a wide variety of wines, beer, cider, and liquor. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It was refreshing to be indoors, watching pac 12 football and enjoying a night out while supporting a local small business. We will be back to try out the games and obstacle course!”

“This is a beautiful and well maintained park. I went Thursday of this week and intended to spend about two to three hours but instead spent all day. It was a great day. Another person just posted it was twenty each but it is $12.00 for regular admission. It was not crowded and very clean. You are given a map with times on it of talks the staff give about the animals. In between I went to the great museum that is closed two times daily to clean. It has so much to view and learn and places to sit. The staff will stop whatever they are doing to help and answer questions. Great p,ace and had a great time. The museum alone was worth it but there is so much more to see. Seeing the former champion horses and the oldest living Derby winner was icing on the cake. Great day, great value. I will be back.”
