“I will almost always choose to stay in town vice on base if possible. I had to stay on base for my latest trip and was fortunate enough to stay at Lockwood Hall. Great room and great location. There are elevators in this historic bldg so be aware if you require such. There is not a breakfast of any kind included. Overall I was very happy and would ask for this location again if i had to stay at JBPHH.”

Check-in was quick and easy, the desk attendant was courteous and informative about the rooms and the property. Our room was fantastic, updated with all the modern fixtures. My only criticism would be the location in conjunction with the outer road on southbound I-35. Familiarize yourself with the shortcuts and back streets to make the surrounding businesses more accessible.”

We kept the car at the motel and took the train to downtown Miami witch was about 25-35 min walk. Which is not bad. The Ac in the room definitely will blaze cold air on a nice summer day also can control the temperature. I definitely would recommend giving it ago. We definitely will be back.”
