“This is our second stay at Tahoe House and I can say we are loyal for life! We have had two incredible experiences here. We stayed in the carriage house which was STUNNING! Do yourself a favor (especially if you have children) and book the carriage house it was worth every penny. Paul the owner is so sweet and welcoming as always and Tatyana and I didn't catch the other girls name at the bar were SO sweet and hospitable. They have added so many amazing new drinks to their menu since we were here 2 years ago so I would definitely give it a try. If you are in Virginia City this is absolutely the place to stay!”

Lots of nice areas to picnic, grill, swim, boat, jet ski or just enjoy the day. A Great time, priced right. “Staff and owner were friendly and very welcoming. Checked in and they handed me a welcome bag of goodies. Snacks and bottled water. That was a nice surprise. The room was clean and comfortable for staying a night. Everything was small but with the price you’re getting a room for it was fair. Bed was adequate and the linens clean. It’s an older place so not updated much at all, which I appreciate as being more of a retro vibe. I grabbed coffee for free in the office in the morning. It’s located near fast food, gas stations, and a bbq joint. Only complaint was, now that it’s getting into the cooler months, the room’s electric heat was pumping out but the thermostat did nothing to calm it down so the room was very stuffy. I would crack the door occasionally just to get some cool air into the room. Either way, for staying just the night my wife and I were cool with the place. If we were in the area again we’d stay here.”

“My husband booked us this wonderful getaway! It was perfect! We enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation surrounding us. Keith and Darrin provided a comfortable, relaxing stay. We stayed in the Captain’s room, which included a fireplace and scenic view from the balcony. It was a spacious, beautiful room, and the bathroom has a jetted tub. We also spent time outside relaxing in a swing. We put feed that was provided out for the deer, and loved watching them come eat. Darrin made a delicious breakfast! “What a wonderful stay we had in such a beautiful home and is also decorated beautifully. Andrew and Mary were exceptional host from the cheese tray to breakfast. Everything was explained from using the remote to exit and entering. Our room was fantastic, absolutely top notch in every way. After breakfast we had a very informative talk on the history of the home and the surrounding area. We could have sat there all day in just good conversation. But there was one downfall. “This is a wonderful trailer park. I Purchased here about two years ago and I feel so safe in a community. During the summer months there are weekly events happening at the clubhouse. Residence play pool in the afternoon and the Saturday night cocktail hour is friendly and inviting. During the winter months, there’s a core group of residents that live here full-time and they are very friendly and helpful. We dig each other out from the snow.”

“We had to stay here unexpectedly on a Saturday night. We walked in after 11pm and was able to get a room. The clerk David helped us and he was excellent! Not only was he very funny but he was extremely helpful. The room was beautiful! It looked like everything was brand new. The beds were very comfy and the ac was ice cold. They had breakfast available but we walked right next door to a.nive little pancake and waffle house. Overall this was a great experience. We have been to Williamsburg many times and have never even heard of this place. We will definitely be back for our next trip! Big Thanks to David for making us feel at home at your hotel!!”

“I discovered this B&B when I brought my youngest out to see Washington after their high school graduation in 2015. I returned for a visit again with another family member in 2018. Both times, Bill was a such gracious host to us...actually, gracious is an understatement! I feel like I am staying with family when I've stayed there. The upstairs room is so peaceful. I sleep so well there! And I still dream about the sunporch breakfasts we had before going on our daily adventures. It's a lovely experience that I will always treasure and hope to be able to do again in the future. I hear the Sound calling me as I write this! So grateful to these wonderful folks for opening up their home as a B&B!”
