“The Hidden Serenity B&B is a hidden gem. Our hosts Chris and Sally were so friendly, well versed in the area and just a delightful couple that really enjoyed sharing their home. They were flexible and adaptable to our needs including special parking accommodations for our motorcycle trailer. We had everything we needed from delicious home made breakfast, including Maple Syrup they made from the trees in their woods to massages, a beautiful spa area, pickle ball court and walking trails in their woods. Our room was clean spacious and well appointed—we lacked for nothing. We highly recommend and we’ll return for a future visit!”

“Room I stayed in had a wonderful view of the lake and awesome dock access that is only for guests. The manager was great, we were greeted as soon as we arrived at the property and taken right up to our room and felt very welcome. The restaurant that was attached was not open at the time we were here. We also had a very quiet stay. We really felt like we had the place to ourselves. Overall great experience and would love to come back in the future!”

“The pool is a delight and although outside it was 111° the room was cool and comfy. The location is perfect and they were animal friendly so having my little 15 year old toothless dog with me there was a dream. It was a great stay. The only thing I'd say is as a woman traveling alone, after 11pm they shut all the lights off so it gets pretty dark. Sharing so you're aware and can plan accordingly.”

“I got a lakeside campsite in late August. Beautiful location, being close to the lake. It was a wet year, so the climb down to the water was only about 3'. As others have said, some of the structures are in need of repair, and the sites are close together. There were many vacancies when I was there, so noise and smoke were not a problem. I accidentally something in the campground, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful in getting it back to me.”

“If I could make one small suggestion: offer coffee in the mornings; either by a breakfast bar or coffee makers in the rooms. That being said, a solid 4 stars! Motel is off the main hwy and very easily found. Single rooms are quaint, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend Goetten's Sierra Motel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to rest your head for the night.”

Sounds bizarre, but the paint job in the hotel room, was the best I had seen. I've done remodeling, and the attention to detail was impressive, from the trim work, caulking lines, and paint job. It creates such a clean appearance when you first enter your room. Close to many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great walking trails close by. Best breakfast spread I've seen at a hotel as well, with multiple healthy options. Just overall felt so good to come back to after the end of a long day.”

My favorite part was opening the windowed doors extending the living room right onto the deck in the evening cool air. “Perfect place to go camping. My girlfriends and I camped out for 1 night and it cost $39.55 with taxes included. The views were beautiful, the tent camping site has electricity and running water. I absolutely loved my time there, I would definitely come back. They also have BBQ that people can use free of charge. I loved how peaceful it is there.”
