With that established, I rated 4 stars because the shower/bath houses really need some TLC with tightening and replacing of old fixtures and figuring out why the drains are not working. The women’s large shower house in particular, floods the entire floor making camping very hard to clean up and stay dry. All that said, the site is amazing and a real gem - I wouldn’t choose to “rough it” (aka camp) any other place on the island.”

I certainly got that.The staff is wonderful and always around to answer your questions and help fulfill your needs. Ive been nights and it's pretty quiet. The staff is pretty accommodating of you needs when you work after hours. The manager is awesome and a character and is always making my day when I see him. The rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. I've enjoyed being more creative in cooking with limited utensils. It has been my home away from home. I found myself calling the hotel home a couple of times. Especially since I brought a few items from home. I recommend getting enhanced wifi and there are plenty of grocery store as well as some fast food restaurants nearby if needed. I have a cat and he even settled in nicely. I definitely recommend this place is you are traveling for work or need a place to hang out for little awhile while in St. Louis. It's only 20 min from the city too.”

“I had called in the afternoon in a panic to find a pet friendly room in anticipation of having to evacuate my home. Andrei had answered the day I called and was extremely helpful. He even offered to call at 10 pm to get an eta from me to see if I was on my way. When I got there Andrei was there and got me all set in a first floor room which was super helpful since I was juggling a toddler and 2 animals on my own. They let me extend on a day by day basis since I was unsure as to when I could go home. Will use them again if I ever have to evacuate again.”
