“The park is located close enough to Space Center Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston, etc to make it a good location for exploring Houston. It does have level concrete pads for both the RVs and tow cars. It has a bit of a sterile feel to it with so much concrete and nearly no trees inside the park. The area has a lot of road construction and traffic so plan to bring your patience.”

“This place is charming. Very clean, private, comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. The balcony has direct sea views. Sunrises are beautiful. The pool is very clean, it's great. Access to the beach is easy and comfortable with a shower at the entrance. It is very quiet, you will hear the sea at all times. Perfect to rest, to come with the family, for a few romantic days, to enjoy the sun and the beach and discover this beautiful island. If you want tranquility, this is your place.”

The added fun of having a clean pool to cool off in as well as a clean picnic area to eat at while listening to The King himself made this the perfect place for us to stay!”

“I agree with the most recent review, from Michelle Gipple (and I've no idea who she is). The location is superb. I've met Carmen, the manager, and she is very nice and accommodating! The property is being worked on, slowly but surely. The sites are huge, and while not all of them are level yet, they are fine if you have a leveling system. Most of the fancy resorts we've stayed at in the past had really unlevel sites, and were ridiculously close together. Not here! Some of the campers here are long term, or permanent and keep their sites tidy, and they're quiet. No partiers or obnoxious folks here. It's very quiet. We feel incredibly safe here as well, and the views can't be beat. Anytime we're in the area for camping we will come back here.”

That being said, the New owners, have made the place enjoyable and much less uptight. With the way the place was run before and the lack of general maintenance, one could only imagine the mountain of work the new owners walked into. Credit is due when credit is due, and I say the new folks are much better and more experienced in how to run a "Functioning" business. And most importantly, are much better at communicating and interacting with their tenants. ---If you came here years ago and was less than impressed, come try it now.. you'll enjoy the improvement..”
