“Oldstone Inn is truly a hidden gem. My husband and I stayed there for a much needed pandemic getaway and had an incredible experience. The grounds and views are beautiful but the real standouts were the food and the lovely, attentive staff. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, without being pretentious (as often happens with fine dining). Many of the team members are Blue Hill at Stone Barns alumns and their passion for their craft was evident in every single dish. They took care to modify dishes based on our dietary preferences and it was a pleasure speaking with the chefs, who came out periodically, as well as the servers, who were happy to tell us the story behind each dish. We can’t wait to return and check out the outdoor casual dining menus which will be rolling out soon.”

“You can tell that the hotel and building are both very new with some kinks still being ironed out, but overall it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for space at a reasonable price. Many of the restaurants in the community are in the process of completion so I expect there to be a lot more so do in the immediate are in the near future. The check in process was simple and low touch, as the majority of the experience. It’s very much similar to living in a condo and less so like a typical hotel. The parking while convenient is also somewhat egregious at $35 a night given the ample space that exists throughout the area. The pool is a nice bonus but has limited hours, is quite shallow and for some reason requires a lifeguard. The doors in the rooms struggle to close fully due to the humidity in the region and poor installation but this is a minor gripe. The kitchen space is ample as is overall space in the unit itself. Dressers in all rooms and king beds vs queen would have been appreciated, but again these are minor qualms. Highway access from the community is good as are grocery stores and shopping as a whole. If you come in with the right expectations this place will likely deliver what you’re after. If you’re hoping for a full service hotel experience then you’re probably better off looking elsewhere.”

“I was there for scuba cert sat and sun mornings. They have a course set up. Nice beach, plenty of tables and room. I thought it a little expensive for a beach, but maybe that's the going rate for a nice beach(private) don't know as I hadn't been to the beach in three years. I would go back.”

“This is a very nice location if you want to stay very close to the beach within 12-15 minute walk and at the same time avoid all the noise. This building is in a residential area that is upper scale and good schools are located. So you will get nice and quiet but you'd have to walk to the beach and stores etc. The building it self is nice there is a sit down area on the rooftop with 3 tables however the pool is being Renovated as of 3/3/2023 and there is a building under construction right next to the building. I'd say this is a nice quiet stay if you want the Miami Beach style without the Miami Beach crowd.”

“Free, primitive campground right off the Towpath. If you're not paying attention you can easily miss the sign. There are 3 sites - two are somewhat close together and the 3rd is off by itself a little bit. Sign in on the sheet, maximum is 1 night. As mentioned, tons of mosquitoes so bring your spray or a net. I also had a family of possums travel through my camp in the morning, so you'll definitely get some wildlife. The train runs fairly close by so if you're a light sleeper you'll likely get woken up. Please pack out everything you brought in!”

“A good friend and I decided to give this campground a try this past weekend. It is probably the cleanest campground I've ever been on... That includes the bathrooms and showers, which are top notch. The view of the dam and the river just a hundred feet away was great. Our lot included a fire pit, well maintained box grill (zero rust, etc.). The best part of the entire experience was the entire site being completely shaded, unless you spend time on the river. Mike and Luke were completely focused on the guests, which is always a hallmark of a good, private business. I cannot recommend this campground enough, and I will certainly be back!”

“I lived here for 4 years and I have to say that for the price you pay it is a great mobile home park. I have lived in other mobile home parks that try to basically control your life and want to find you for the smallest things. I have never had any issues with the neighbors and for the most part it's a very quiet place to live and everybody minds their own business. I think that it has new management and they are trying to clean the park up a little bit but that is not a bad thing. Melissa who is the park manager is the most amazing person ever and will try to help you with whatever issues you have out of the kindness of her heart :-). I recommend living here.”

“I attended a concert at Pine Knob. The Millpond is just a short drive from the venue. Saved me from having to drive home across the state or even having to get on the highway to find a hotel. I stayed in the 1842 Suite. It just looked really nice upon entry. Very comfortable and clean. The kitchen area was well stocked with coffee and a nice variety of tea. Plenty of dishes for guests. Yogurt, breakfast bars, fruit and coffee cake for the morning was nice. Very nice bathroom. Very modern looking. The hot tub was very relaxing. And we loved relaxing on the balcony with our coffee the following morning. Very peaceful! I would recommend this place and I would stay here again, especially the next time I attend a concert.”

“We had a great visit, cousins and spouses from 4 states. The accommodations were great and everyone enjoyed the visit. I was amazed at how well the house is stocked! We needed a light bulb and went to the basement landing and found one right away. Family really enjoyed sitting around the grill/fire pit area. We also congregated in the den, living room, and large front porch. Visited Fallingwater and the Flight 93 Memorial.”

Very clean and well taken care of campground which also has cabins. The only problem is that the road is right next to the campsites. The cars cause noise throughout the day and night.”
