“I stayed here for several months while working on my house. The property was clean and comfortable and the gated off-street parking was great! The house had all the amenities that I needed; having a full kitchen and laundry were especially nice after a long day. Kimberly (the owner) was very helpful and responsive in providing directions and guidance for local attractions, grocery stores, etc. She clearly takes pride in restoring older homes and was always working to improve the property. I was initially skeptical about the area, but there was a lot of new development going on and I found it quite safe and enjoyed walking to restaurants and the glass museum. I would not hesitate to stay here again; for the money and convenience of living in a fully furnished home it certainly beat a hotel room!”

“Great prices no crime. It's a shotty little park but it is a pretty good place to live no kids no dogs. Management asks residents to keep quiet after 8pm out of respect for the neighbors. The park has on-site washers and dryers open until 9pm. Overall 5 stars not for the look but for the comfort. Thanks A&F”

“Super cute and nice location just outside of downtown. Cabin number five with the high windows is especially nice and looks to be the only one with windows like that. There is some road noise, but it did not bother us but if you’re sensitive to that you may want to bring earplugs. Your parking area is five cabins down. Nice that it was set up for a bonfire but after the rain we weren’t able to have one as it was too wet. Hair dryer not provided. Clean and comfy!”

“The manager here is a down to earth, family kind of guy. He educated us on the buildings & the process to have one delivered on our property. Simple process (straightforward deal) & nice quality buildings. Update 8/2019: We ended up getting an awesome red barn 16x10 from his lot. We do think its pretty great! Has a metal roof with high quality throughout, substantial doors. Has lofts & is solid. Has added to the value of our property & we no longer are paying the storage fee for a storage we had for over 10 years! The delivery guy in our case was a father son team & were able to get it in a smaller space using some awesome equipment. Pros... Thanks!”

“The room was very cute and cozy, but most importantly super clean. I was expecting a room right by beachfront but it was honestly a few steps to the beach which was no big deal at all. The weather was not on our favor but the room was so cozy and quiet that we enjoyed quiet time and movies. The service was great as well. “Our whole family stayed at Anvil in the cabins and a cottage last week for a family trip to Busch Gardens. We were a little shocked just how small this campground was and surprised by the train. However, there are so many reasons why those 2 things do not matter and I would book again. My kids were absolutely OBSESSED with the game room.. and so was I. The staff was a pleasure to communicate with as I enjoyed every interaction with them. Their pet policy and accommodations were perfect and made my first trip with a dog a breeze. It was well maintained and we were very comfortable during our stay in the cottage. Some members of our family were woken up by the train at times, but no one was kept up from it. I personally grew up next to a train so I slept better then I do at home without a train. Our family made beautiful memories. Thanks guys for such a personal and welcoming stay!”

“My family of six has stayed at this resort each April for the past five years. During that time period, there have definitely been constant improvements, but I have to admit I have never encountered anything like the reviewer that found the accommodations so awful that they left the next morning?! Yes, the sleeper sofas are not that comfortable, there were a few stains on a few of the dining room chairs, but otherwise, everything is extremely comfortable, extremely clean, and the decor has been updated in each of the five units we have stayed in (two bedroom units and three bedroom units). I love the peacefulness of this resort, the 17,000 acres of hiking that is right outside any door of the property, and the comfortableness and well-equipped units. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly, highly recommend this resort. However, if you are looking for resort-directed activities, this is not the place for you. Lots to do around the resort, but the resort it QUIET. Yet we have a 5 year old and a 14 year old and they both really enjoy this resort.”

The residents that live there were very helpful in finding all the extra curricular fun i needed and at the right price!!If you’re looking for a place that turns the other cheek while you perform those not so legal activities this is the best place. Oh and ask for Tiara she will make it a night to remember. Be back soon. Came back last night for some more fun. Service is great and beds are so comfy. I got the 2 for 1 private show and left me speechless. Highly recommend you stay here.”

“Beautiful and quiet place to live! Only problem I've seen is people not following the small dog rules and also not keeping their dogs on a leash! I've seen big pit bulls and all kinds of big shepherd looking dogs. One actually attacked my small dog while he was on our own property and on a leash!”
