For the ladies, the weapons of beautification are displayed on the second floor and a tub that would easily hold several children at bath time is on display. I won't spoil your fun by telling all...it's a must visit. Cost for entering is $5.00 and worth every penny!”

The Historical Society and the House, display that history in way that is accessable to everyone. Through their activities the towns residents get such a resource to learn about the commuties roots and culture. Kudos to tue volunteers who keep this going.”

“A quaint and charming museum that celebrates craft. It is right near the park, so it has lovely views. They had a wonderful exhibit called "Uneasy Beauty" which explored contemporary jewelry and costume. Tip: on Thursday, the museum is open late and admission is free after 5pm!”

The motor sports museum is on one side and the music museum is on the other side. Both are free admission but have separate donation containers. Super clean, super friendly. Push button for admission. My son the guitar player went crazy for an early rare fiberglass guitar and other items. Local N.C. musicians are featured from all genres. Lots of Mike Curb Records memorabilia. The motor sports side is stocked with vintage indy cars, sprints, stock cars and even Tim Grose's vintage corvette funny car. Well worth the trip. Close to Nascar race shops.”
