It is hard to resist once you get the smell of it.. There were a lot of rides, games, icecream trucks where my friend was working.... it was just a wonderful day. I love Staten Island.????????????”

“Sadly the art walls compound was locked up on the afternoon that I went to Coney Island but by wandering around I was able to see most of them and get decent images of a few of them. The walls seem to have different hours to everything else. The person I travelled with was surprised to see them shut.”

“The Visitor Center is the best way to start your visit to Fort Wadsworth. There is a museum which provides a great overview of the historic military base and fortifications and there are park rangers on staff who can point out all the best things to see in the park. Definitely worth your time. - Be advised: this visitor center is open seasonally (spring, summer, and fall) and is usually closed in the winter. Call ahead!”
