“I came from Missouri to take a tour in June 2021. Kelly was our tour guide. She was amazing!! The Lewis ranch is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been to Graceland several times and this is a completely different experience. Kelly made everything so personal and was so welcoming. The memorabilia displayed is one of a kind. By the end of the tour, between the stories and the home, I felt like I actually knew Jerry Lee ! Thank you Kelly and the Lewis Ranch for making my experience beyond what was expected.”

“This museum is a perfect place to go, it doesn’t matter if you are young or if you are older. It has all the history of all the games we’ve been using growing up. The museum is super clean and organized. It has a lot of activities that you can do including the observatory and the ticket machines that you can play on. I’ve been there twice and I really enjoyed the college nights they would do. It was amazing to learn and enjoy it with people from your school or same age.”

“Amazing site. It’s is a great history of the battle and the museums are great love the walk through a soldiers experience. The earthworks are a great walk and the recreated trenches are awesome for realization of the battle. It is a must stop for history people and non history people. The plantation and houses show the civilian life as well. And are just as important.”

“Thom Kapheim is an uncommonly gifted artist. His studio is a comfortable gallery in which one can view and acquire a wide variety of Thom’s original works in varied media. He often has printed works and collections of printed works available as well. I recommend calling ahead in order to determine that the studio/gallery will be open when you arrive. A visit will NOT disappoint you. Thom’s artwork is quite extraordinary.”

“I've visited in the fall and for the amazing winter light show just this season. I absolutely love what this place has to offer. It's so important to educate our young humans to care about nature and native species and the botanic garden is definitely doing that. As for the light show... holy mother of pearl was it so beautiful!!! I could have stayed forever if not for worrying about my feet freezing off ♡ will definitely return in the spring and summer ♡”

“I came here to propose to my previously girlfriend now wife :). The first thing I really wanted to mention is that Jocelyn was incredibly nice and unknowingly made our experience even more special (she did not know that I had planned to propose). She was so kind and went the extra mile to make our experience nice and more enjoyable. As we were walking away we had talked about how nice she was and how we appreciated her. So much so that I spoke to her manager about it and also decided to write this review (quite frankly she is probably the main reason we are giving 5 stars). Jocelyn, if you end up reading this: That moment you had spoke about when you had sat in your car and thought about your life. I think you made the right decision and my wife and I are grateful for your kindness that day that we couldn't stop talking about you and how you had made us really happy. We truly want the best for you and all your future endeavors! Regarding Butterfly World Itself: The pricing is a little high in my opinion per ticket ($32.50 + tax per person). However since it's one of those things you want to experience at least once it's a little more acceptable. We expected the place to be a little bigger since it touts the title of being the largest butterfly park in the world but in the main screened off area there are certainly more butterflies than we've ever seen in one place. Don't go when it rains, apparently they fly around a lot less during that time. We were able to go during a good time and they were flying everywhere so it was a neat sight to see especially for my wife who LOVES butterflies.”

“This place is absolutely a fantastic piece of history to this gold mining town. The ladies taking us through the tour were soo knowledgeable that the past came to life. Walking through the door, the 1800’s comes into frame. As they stated, many gold mine deals were discussed & closed within those walls. Everything here is exquisite & a must see for any antique/history aficionados. Even the door hinges were handcrafted!”

“One of the best museums that I've ever been to, aside from the Louvre in Paris. It's one of the few places that is always on my list whenever I'm in New York. The MET is a big museum with lots to see, it's hard to see all the art and artifacts within a day so if you're looking to explore as much of the museum as possible I recommend going early. You can grab a ticket from the ticketing desk when you're there or from the automated kiosk, I highly recommend the automated kiosk since it is much faster. There's audio guides for the art and artifacts within the MET which I highly recommend, since it gives context to what you're looking at. The museum is beautifully set up and built, they have permanent and temporary exhibits. Every exhibit is made with such care that you feel as though you're transported back in time. The Chinese courtyard inside the museum is one of my favourites. I also got a chance to see a lot of beautiful dresses for their fashion week exhibit, which was very tastefully displayed and set up. I highly recommend the MET for anyone looking to checkout a museum with lots of interesting arts and artifacts! It's definitely an experience like no other.”

“The buildings here are well taken care of after being saved from demolition for new development of the land they formerly stood on. I was at the open house they have on the weekend and the volunteers that they had were helpful in showing what life was like and in informing people about the history of the buildings. It is also nice to just walk through it. While you do that there is an online guide to the buildings on the County Park website that is interesting.”
