“The property is beautiful. You could take 2-3 hrs just enjoying the gardens. The house furnishings are amazing and a must see. The tour guide did a great job telling the history and answering our questions. The oak trees are massive and the grounds are covered with these beauties. Walk up to the river to get a good view of what they would have seen before the levee was built. I highly recommend Houmas House and Gardens.”

“The staff was incredibly patient with my excited group which included two under the age of 7. The kids went from area to area exploring and having fun. We all wrote a note to be sent to a student from Namibia and made rain sticks. We even laughed while basically sifting through trash (recycling lesson). It was a wonderful experience that kids should get to have.”

“What a lovely house with such a cozy interior— furnished so colorfully! I especially love the homemade touch of the rugs and the artful masterpieces that adorn the walls. Besides the modern kitchen that became the birthplace for our homemade meals, this place spoke grandiosity like no other…so much so that it beckons onlookers and tethers guests so they are bound to want to return once more! Our overnight stay was an incredibly worthy purchase.”

Just got lots of new old stock parts for miscellaneous 1940-1950 Jeeps and GM parts. Come see if we have the part you need.”

“Listen just go whether you're a fan or not Graceland is such a cool experience. Definitely pay for the full package and see everything planes included. You'll need 2-3 hrs to do everything properly so you can pace yourself and soak everything in. The mansion is dated but cool. The meditation garden is surreal and relaxing. The new complex is simply amazing with all of Elvis's cars and memorabilia spanning his entire career on display. Thank goodness the family preserved all of this stuff I mean what an amazing collection it's unbelievable. Go. Enjoy. Absorb. Appreciate the history there's nothing else like it.”

“This museum is such a treasure, so much history, time and dedication in its creation. The amount of care, nuance and guidance you would like to have for kids and adults alike. Took the kids and they can’t stop talking about it. Enough cartoon and animated references mixed with realistic weaponry and uniforms. Truly a wonder!”

“This is a great place to hold an event. I have hosted two large events here, one a celebration and one a fundraiser. Both were successes. Great space, good adjustable lighting, clean, lots of parking and well run. Easy to access, both from a driving perspective and getting your supplies into the event space. Having the American Alpine Club, The Colorado Mountain Club and the Colorado Trail in the building is a bonus and gave our events additional character. For outdoor people, the museum, displays, and library are fantastic. I highly recommend the venue. As we were taking down from my last event a wedding party was setting-up . By the time I left, they were already in full swing and having a fabulous party. They also made a great choice.”

Imports and domestics, military, even a boat-car are on display here. This is an awesome opportunity for a quick family outing g to see some historic autos from years gone by!”

The kids part of the museum is very well displayed for a lot of hands on fun. There's nice theaters to sit and watch some of his movies. The gift shop has a very sweet young lady working and the guy volunteer had lots of great information for us. Glad we took the time to visit.”
