“Very large facility with just about every plane you would want to see. The entire tour of the place takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours depending on your pace. Plenty of restrooms. Two different cafeterias and a gift shop with different simulators that you can also partake which does cost extra.”

“This is a great museum. I would highly recommend it. In particular, the activist of New York was an amazing exhibition that really stood out to me as something that was different and well structured. It was easy to go through each section and understand what the point of view was where it came from. What changed over time? The video as well on the ground floor was unbelievably. Interesting to see how New York has changed over time, where it started and that where it's going and overall a good museum where you can jump between the different sections and easily find your way”

“It is only open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm so unfortunately I could only look thru window exhibit. What I saw was intriguing. If I happen to be in town on a Saturday, I will definitely visit. Admission is only $1.00 Street parking was plentiful. There is a lovely coffee shop up the street.”

“This place was a very pleasant surprise and a very informative museum. The Lost Railroad refers to the interurban passenger system that once ran across the bottom of southern Michigan from Lake Erie to Lake Michigan. The virtual train ride was a hoot and a half. This is not a expansive place but we spent a leisurely hour there wondering through the museum, watching an introduction video, viewing the exhibits and riding the Virtual train. Very fun! There is no admission or even a suggested donation but it seems to me five to ten bucks a head would go a long way to keep the lights and heat on here. The team of Lost RR volunteers should be proud of what they have accomplished! Whole heartedly FIVE STARS!”

“We came here to check out the train display. My children loved looking at all of trains going around and pushing the buttons to make things move! There are several different rooms full of trains to look at. There's a large tree with tracks going up and down in it! There's even a train going around the ceiling! Right outside of the train museum, there was a nice playground that was fenced in! My only complaint is that there's no sign directly in front of the building and where we parked, we couldn't see the train signs. We went into the historical museum and when asked about the trains, we were rudely informed that we were in the wrong area. I had never heard of this historical museum before, but after encountering this rude staff member, I can see why people might not want to recommend it to others.”

“The first and best toy museum so far I've ever see I love seeing all the toys from different eras, including a few from my own childhood.I also love the free pinball machines. Playing those games was awesome. My favorite room so far was the doll room, the miniature room, and of course the game room . I also, the kinetic room was good. I also like their little mascot named Loo, a cat that lives there. That's why I rate it five stars it's like walking back in your childhood in that museum great place to visit”

“Update: The Shrine continues to be a place of peace and an opportunity for grace to envelope the visitors. Feeling lonely or depressed? Come visit Jesus in the tabernacle, the Saint’s in the reliquaries and be filled with hope and joy. They now have a bake shop every Friday! Stunning architecture and deep wooden interiors will please any wanderer. Immersion into a chapel with relics from 850 saints, mostly first class, brings a rush of hope to all the weary and a pounce of joy to everyone who enters. They are always hosting events to excite your Faith journey and you can be assured of a gentle, evangelizing experience for those who are still seeking. The Catholic gift shop is the best in Ohio. I dare you to find a better one.”

“Happened to be open when I went to vote next door. Offices for the association, archives in the back, plus a local history museum with a hodgepodge of various county history pieces and some earnest informational cards. A nice wall of Cheatham County veteran portraits going back to the Civil War. The museum attendant was very friendly and informative.”

“Cute little reproduction town built by the town's historical society about 20 years ago. The town was created using materials reclaimed from the local mine, with a lot of attention to detail. We stopped by when volunteers were doing maintenance and met several of the town's folk who were extremely warm and welcoming. If you're fortunate enough to stop by when someone's there, they'll have all kinds of history to share.”

“My wife and I visited and had a great time. I'm really into American history so I was like a kid in a candy store. Driving my wife nuts saying look at that. Look at this. We spent all day there and had a great time talking with everyone and learning and observing. I highly recommend the Jay Co. Historical Museum. Whether alone or with your family you won't regret it. Keep history alive or you are doomed to repeat it.”
