The only drawback was that the register's printer was messed up and we could not get a receipt. This is a bummer for those that need to get reimbursement for meals for work. Not that big of a deal for me. Restaurant seemed to be clean, parking lot was free of trash. Food was good. Our burgers were fresh, not and not loaded with mayo like some locations do. French fries were just brought up, not and perfect! Thanks!”

I’m assuming after Covid people aren’t trying to work at Steak n Shake because they’ve been low staffed, closing doors early, and taking a long time with orders This one in Locust Grove was really clean, we were seated immediately, waitress came right over and took our orders! They don’t have the self serve drink fountain like the local one in Gastonia and the menus were printed off but everything else was A+ Nice area right near shopping plazas and outlets. Parking all the way around the building and great staff. Kid friendly and prices are great Food came right out, all orders correct, my burger even looked like the advertisements 😁😁”

“It's a small, unassuming spot. You place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. The young lady at the counter was very nice, courteous, and patient. She made our cafe con leches perfect. The foam on top was beautiful. It was so good I drank the whole thing (and I'm lactose intolerant). 😆 They don't have dairy substitutes, so I was glad I had some lactaid pills. Lol. We had the pastries with the Guayaba y queso. That has to be the most delicious pastry I've had in a long time. Flaky, light, and buttery with the perfect amount of Guayaba and cheese. Omg don't miss these pastries. We were there early in the morning, so not everything on the menu was available, but what we had was so good. Their Cuban sandwich is amazing, from that bread that my husband swears is genuine "...just like in Cuba." to the roasted pork, ham, and delicious mustard and pickles. He is Cuban, and he loved it! I have to say that bread does elevate that sandwich to the next level. The steak sandwich is good too, but I think the star is the Cuban sandwich. Their croquettas were crispy and well seasoned. We will come back and try everything. I've read reviews calling this place a gem, and it truly is. Great Cuban food and great service.”

I haven’t had Godfather’s since they went out of business in my home state 17 years ago. When I saw this, I had to have it and the buffalo pizza did NOT disappoint. While it feels much more like a Pizza Hut buffet than I remember, it was still delicious and really hit the spot. As far as chains go, this is a solid choice for a family pizza night. The deal of two medium pizzas (one single topping and one speciality) and a dessert for $29 is a steal considering a medium is already close to $22 on its own. Seriously—a very cost effective way to feed a smaller family! Overall, it was a good visit and I’m happy to have had a few slices of nostalgia again.”
