There are no bad days, you can expect the same food and service every time you go. Anne and Ryan have always treated my family incredibly well, even providing food after my Grandpa’s death. It’s definitely not the cheapest meal in town, but when you figure in the quality, and the fact that families are being treated so generously by this business in their times of grief, I have absolutely no qualms about the price. The little yellow shack on Nickerson boulevard is truly one of a kind, and always worth the stop!”

“While I was in the area I stopped in to get carry-out for dinner. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has an interesting/homely feel inside. Their menu is pretty big and laid out nicely in many categories. I opted for some chicken KaProw, Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Basil Fried Rice, and Chicken Tom Yum and I have to say that it was all outstanding! The soup was one of the best I’ve had, the broth had a really nice, fresh, lemony flavor from the lemon grass (unfortunately, there was a couple of large piece of lemongrass stalk in the soup, but it was easy to spot and remove) and the spice level was excellent! The flavors of the stir fried items was spot-on and had that “flame kissed” flavoring to them. Definitely would recommend stopping in… Really good Thai eats here!!”

This is a taste of Acuña which is a border town in the safe of Coahuila. This is a very famous dish from that area that locals are proud to share. I have family from this area and Jr’s does a great job bringing this traditional meal from Acuña to FTW. Prices have gone up recently. Not a fan of that.”

“I am so glad I found Hunter’s Cafe! Driving back to Fayette County from Oconee, I was hoping to find a good local spot for breakfast and boy, did I hit the jackpot! Wonderful country cooking reminded my of my grandmothers cooking as a child. Heather was so sweet and rest of the ladies there were very nice as well. Excellent selection of all of your southern favorites for breakfast. The prices are very fair and tue food was perfect. I tried a pancake - amazing! For one it’s about as large as the plate but the texture is the just right balance between light and fluffy (not thick and dense) with a buttery sweet taste and crispy edge. If you like tasty friendly county dining you’ve gotta give Hunter’s Cafe a try. Next time I’m in town I’m definitely stopping by.”
