“We left the Miami airport headed for Marathon Key and noticed it was lunchtime and we were ready for lunch! After a Google search we settled on Mrs Mac’s Kitchen. We started off with some conch fritters that were delicious by themselves but that homemade sauce they came with really put them in the class of those I’ve had in the Caribbean. Lunch was a fish and shrimp plate. The fries that came with it were the shoestring type which I am not usually a fan of but these were not overcooked so they were very good. The fish and shrimp were Heavily breaded( just like it said in the description) but still a little much but delicious nonetheless. The home made tarter sauce was an awesome addition as well. The cool atmosphere of the place is really worth the visit by itself but pair it with the great food and its a home run for sure. I would come back here anytime.”

“I have to tell everyone out there. You must try the fish sandwich. It wasn’t just the size of the fish sandwich. It was the type of battering. It was the moistness of the fish and I have to give David a lot of kudos. My mother and I were there twice on two different weekends and his service is nothing less than five star. I think that is the best fish sandwich I have ever had in my life and the night before I had a fish sandwich at another restaurant absolutely no comparison at all. I thought the salsa tasted a bit like ketchup but my wife didn't really think that but agreed not the best she has had. The House Margarita was decent. the rice was good, the beans were OK but nothing special. my wife had a bean and cheese burrito smothered in red sauce and it was decent she said but she likes our normal spot better. I had a shredded beef taco which was pretty good, chille relleno which was very good and a cheese Enchilada with mole sauce. I have had alot of mole at many restaurants and I will say this one is my least favorite. it had too much chili powder or some spice I couldn't put my finger on. maybe it was not the best batch they have ever made but in the end I think there are better spots to eat at at. the bonus here is that if you have kids they have a bunch of things on the menu brunch menu including pancakes and various dishes to keep people happy.”

“The location doesn't look like much, but the wings and fries both were significantly higher quality than any other small wings place I've tried around here. I tried the Hot sauce which was different than expected but still really good. Has some sweetness to it (maybe some citrus?), but still has the heat. Fries were sort of pub style which is refreshingly different than what you see most of the time. Some of the fries got covered in the wing sauce in the takeout box, so I ate them with the blue cheese for a surprisingly tasty side treat. Blue cheese quality even seemed above average. I'll definitely be back to try some other menu items.”

Sauce taste very much like MY Italian born and raised FIL's. The gluten free meatballs were delicious! Tender and tasty. House itillian was super tasty! Served a gf roll with garlic butter and melted cheese with a side of sauce. Made me French onion soup with gf bread. The mini Asada Tacos have handmade tortilla and fresh guacamole, the steak is great quality and I have been getting them at least once a week for the past 2 years. I ended up buying a chicken combo dinner plate and it came with 2 scoops of white rice, a scoop of macaroni style pasta, steamed veggies, a small side of cabbage salad and katsu + grilled chicken. The chicken was amazing! It had great seasoning, that compliments the chicken perfectly! They also have 2 different sauces. 1 i believe was teriyaki sauce and the other one was mildly sweet at first, but overtime. You notice the spice, it is perfect for people that like strong spices and Chile. The service was excellent! The guy was very courteous and friendly. He took our food directly to our table and even stopped by our table a few minutes after to check in and see how we were doing / needed anything. He also brought a knife to our table without me having to ask, because he noticed I was trying to separate the meat to smaller pieces with a fork. I would greatly recommend this place if you are planning am outing to the Westminster Target located in this shopping centre. I actually will probably come by this place, next time I make a trip to the Target by here... The menu had some very appealing plates.”

“Had the lunch buffet dinner on Sunday. I get the senior discount and the meal was $16.99. But there was plenty of good hot food. From fried chicken, pot roast, pulled pork, fried shrimp and tender catfish to a large variety of vegetables. The salad bar was fresh, clean and well prepared with a variety of pasta salads , etc. For desert there were puddings, cakes and fresh fruit. I really enjoyed the service and the overall kindness of the staff. My only complaint was with the cabbage rolls. I was there today for lunch for the first time, and I think I would have missed it except a friend with me had been before. Service was incredibly friendly. I'm not a fan of buffets, but the food was really quite good. I've recently changed my eating habits and this place was making me wish I hadn't. “I can't say enough about how great this restaurant is! As you can see from my pictures, the wife and I have tried a lot of different rolls, and every one of them has been phenomenal! Each time we try a new one I say this is my new favorite, but honestly I can't pick a favorite because they're all so delicious, beautifully made, and the fish is so fresh that it just about melts in your mouth. If you like a little heat, the Jessica Roll is perfect. If you like more heat, the spicy tuna rolls (they have several rolls with spicy tuna in them) packs a bit of a punch without the spice level overwhelming the flavor. The family that owns and operates the restaurant are incredibly nice. I didn't ask her name, but the owner stopped by our table to see how everything was and she ended up talking with us for a bit and even boxed up the rolls we couldn't finish for us at the table. There's not a lot of places where you get a lovely conversation with the owner and such impeccable service like that! She told us her sons are all the waiters and one of them makes the sushi rolls, so even if she isn't there you know you're going to get consistent rolls and excellent service! I mentioned that she boxed up what we couldn't finish. We like to order a large number of rolls when we have sushi and take what we don't finish home to have for lunch the next day. Typically the rice will dry out, but the sushi here stays so fresh by the next day that it tastes like it was just made minutes before! The prices are incredible for the amount of food you get. We ordered ten rolls, goyza, egg rolls, and two beers at our last visit and the bill was under $150. You can't find this quality of sushi for that price anywhere else! The last thing that I think is worthwhile to mention is that the waiter and the owner were both very cool about us ordering so much. We're both smaller people and clearly not able to eat everything in one go, and we've had the wait staff at other sushi places comment negatively about the size of our order (we do not ever get all you can eat sushi, we only order individual rolls). When we placed our order here my wife joked to not judge us because we ordered so much but both the waiter and owner where very happy that we loved the food so much to place such a large order and the owner was clearly so proud that her sons talent was so appreciated by our tastebuds! Do your own mouth a favor and support a local business, I promise you'll leave happy and full!”

“It was a great little Italian spot near my apartment. They have an old '40-some truck for a salad bar, which others have taken lots of pictures. They have a great atmosphere with lots of historical memorabilia while enjoying their fantastic local favorites. I had they lasagna with meat sauce, garlic cheese bread, and a one trip salad bar. I added two cups of unsweetened iced tea and topped it off with a cold glass of Stella beer. My waiter John was on the spot every time I needed a refill or a take out container. I could overhear him, taking great care of all his tables around me. I've already told my daughter we are going back for some pizza when she and her brothers come to visit. Give them a try. I went to the Ralston restaurant. You'll be glad you did. (Forgot to mention, kids 11 and under eat free on Mondays).”

I had the Afghan meatballs with spectacular rice and potatoes. The pudding for dessert with pistachios on top was also truly excellent. This restaurant is very clean and carries a lot of class. Bathrooms were very nice. Convenient location in El Dorado Hills. Parking may be challenging during busy times. Definitely enjoyed the food and overall experience and we'll plan on visiting again one day. Highly recommended.”
