“This was and still is my favorite BBQ place in the west burbs. I haven't been here in about 4 years so i wanted to see if they tasted the same. They did not miss! The BBQ is tender, smokey and juicy! I highly recommend the ribs, the rib tips, definitely the wings and burnt ends. This is real BBQ and they are smoking. If you like fake oven cooked with super fall off the bone, this is not the place. If you order on a holiday, I recommend you place an order online because they can be overwhelming crowded. I ordered online a day before Father's Day and still had to wait an extra 45 minutes. Any other day I'm sure the wait isn't as long, but be please aware. (The only reason I rated the service a 4 is because the young lady at the counter had me come back 3 times before my food was ready. It was supposed to be ready at 1pm and originally I was 20 minutes early. She couldn't give me an accurate pick up time. They told me each time come back in 15 minutes instead of just saying " hey we're behind and yours will probably be ready closer to 1:30pm to 1:45pm.) Other than that the staff here is always super nice!”

“An absolute Gem of a Mediterranean restaurant. My family and I enjoy this several times a year whether dining in or takeout. I'm a huge fan of their Pita rolls, and my wife loves the flavor saver entree. Of course you can't go wrong with their hummus, kibbe, or vegetable plate appetizers. One of the best parts about this restaurant, is you walk away feeling as if you've had a healthy meal and that you haven't over-eaten. A rare and delightful experience for any restaurant to offer its customers. The food, the customer service, in the overall dining experience are all top-notch. Furthermore, these characteristics of this restaurant are shockingly consistent and superb across all of the several locations that I have visited. “Amazing Food Flavor, Texture, and Care!! My husband and I called and placed an order from Diane for Takeout today: He had the Bistro Burger w/fries and I had the Quiche Lorraine. Burger was cooked perfectly since my husband likes his a little rare, it was GREAT with all the toppings and the fries had a very nice seasoning on them. I like thicker fries and not crispy, there were made my favorite way. My husband likes a well known one that are narrower cut and crispy, but he still enjoyed them. BEST most CREAMY Quiche I have had in all of my life!! I have to watch my gluten intake and the crust was so minimal, often most places have such a thick crust and barely anything inside. Her egg mixture was so creamy with lots of onions and other ingredients on the bottom. It was almost like a light cheesecake/flan sort of egg consistency. SMOOTH! No idea how long Diane whipped those eggs, but OH MY DELICIOUS! We will be Back and hope to meet you next time Diane (I had to stay in the car with our dog) and thank you, plus try your spinach quiche next!! Vegan and vegetarian friendly with several creative entrees; it’s not every day you see a rabbit, boar, antelope, and cherry sausage offering. Big emphasis on gluten-free. Their garlic knots were soft and garlicky, their salads crisp and fresh, their pasta well cooked. “Came here with my family. we actually thought it was great. We thought it was a little shady the way the windows were kind of covered up and all the construction and everything is going around it. But the food was fantastic. Everything was great, tasted yummy. only thing is the side of fried rice that we asked for was very Bland like it just tasted like white rice. I ordered the shrimp and scallop combo hibatchi, one of my kids ordered the chicken, one of them ordered the avocado roll, and the other one was the tiger roll. Everything was super tasty except for the rice. The atmosphere and music were nice, kind of bopping. Not what I would expect for an Asian restaurant, and they had baseball playing on the TV, but we will go back. Only other feedback I could give was the scallops were beautiful buttery but the shrimp that I had was a little overcooked just barely just by like a minute for advertisers we got the creamy jalapeno and the fried scallops!”

It's a lively place with a staff that tries their absolute best but is challenged with keeping up with the demands of all their guests. The menu, albeit quite brief, has something for everyone. “We got a coupon in the mail so I filed it in my coupon envelope cuz you never know when you'll have a KFC 🍗 emergency! Yesterday while out for an errand, I was hankering for some KFC 🐔.... pulled out my coupon and the 9 piece bucket for $15.99 got my attention. So off I went to the nearest KFC in Vista... the first place I went in said we don't have this coupon and told me to go to the KFC in Oceanside. I called before leaving the parking lot and was told they don't have that coupon in their system and the special they have currently is 8 pieces for $21. I wasn't about to give up because now I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon and their locations have no idea what the heck it is! I called another KFC in Oceanside, the 2007 Mission location, and the lady I spoke with told me we don't have that coupon but bring it in and we'll see what we can do. Off I went! When I got there, the young lady I showed the coupon to said let me get my manager. Flora (sp) the manager too said we don't have this coupon in our system. She asked where I got it, I told her I got it in the mail. I also told her I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon but none of the locations that I've been to or called have it in their system.... Long story short, she didn't turn me away! Flora told me what she was willing to do for me and did it! I appreciate the level of customer service and the way she and her staff dealt with me! I came in during dinner time and I wasn't the only one person hankering for some KFC🍗! All three staff were working hard filling orders but never did I feel rushed nor did they make me feel bad for having a mystery coupon! I was so pleased with the exchange I went back to the car to grab some moola for a tip! I got home with my bucket of guilty pleasure to go with my steamed rice and garlic broccoli 🥦 (the things we do to justifya bucket as we get older)!!! Thank you Flora and staff for being kind, for smiling, and working hard to provide fantastic customer service 😋!!!!”
