“During our trip from Atlanta to St. Augustine we stopped for something to eat at this Waffle House at the 1st of May. It was our first visit to a Waffle House and we liked it from the beginning. The ambience is like in the movies and the services was really nice. We were able to see how our meals were prepared and it was all good. Before we left we had a little chat with one of the chiefs and one girl of the service and we got two little plastic ducks as a souvenir and lucky charm for the rest of our vacation trip. And guess what, we had the best vacation ever!”

“The tuna tower is delicious and shareable. The wagyu spring rolls are so very good and they come with 4 pieces to share but I could eat them all. The Fuji sangria is refreshing and light and very fruity. The sushi here is fantastic too. It’s a great spot to get appetizers and drinks or to get your whole dinner. The bed and pillows are higher quality than most hotels and inns, we slept so well. Beautiful landscaping and walking/biking paths, and the pool and hot tub are well kept. It looks similar to a pizza hut pan but with a little less grease, but if you like that greasy taste, you'll find it a tiny bit dry (says my mother). We got one with sausage, extra cheese, onion and banana peppers and one with extra cheese, bacon, and extra bacon lol. My pick, the bacon mountain was absolutely phenomenal and I would order it again for sure. You just can't go wrong with this place. Be sure to get lightly done if you get their regular crust.”

“Stayed at the Catalina Canyon Inn and went out for lunch at the Cove. We were very surprised that the place was lonesome but we decided to give it a try. To our great surprise they had a very diverse menu and great service. Oh and not to mention they have happy hour from 3-6pm 🤗 We had carne asada fries and 2 rounds of buffalo wings and 2 rounds of margaritas Everything was super delicious with so much flavor We read some of the past reviews and people not liking to sit themselves at a table but honestly who cares The next day we had lunch and we had the barbacoa tacos , patty melt , turkey sandwich, carne asada fries, and fish tacos. They even gave us a small sample to try the pozole. Absolutely THE BEST. We could not stop telling them that the food was beyond delicious. The plates were well served and definitely worth the price. The Cove definitely tops any of the restaurants down at downtown Avalon. I would most definitely come and eat there again .”

They do have 2 Restaurants here, Govinda express and vegetarian restaurant. Given the place of these restaurants, availability of food at these restaurants is better than cooking 😀 there is ample place to sit inside and eat!”
