The owner Tom and his wife are two wonderful and amazing owners of this hideaway. It is filled with exquisite and tantalizing flavors of Thai food I’ve ever eaten, not only is the food, every bit, a perfection in sweet and spicy Thai gourmet, but it is presented in a beautiful, colorful manner as well. This particular evening, we watched the owners not only serving the meals, but taking the orders and cooking the orders, as well as keeping their establishment clean, just watching them work, and the energy they presented was amazing. Each and every dish is displayed with such detail in freshly hand-picked bouquets of tantalizing mouthwatering, aromas that leave you wanting to literally live in Thailand. Each dish whether you prefer it non-spicy or highly spiced for those who walk on the wild side will have you coming back for more. “I wanna say that how great the crew at pizza king really shown through my last order which was pickup. I was having issues trying to jump my car to the point i had to borrow the next door familys vehicle to try to make it fore closing. I eventually got there sadly 10 minutes late but they were all so wonderful and understanding & matter of a fact the manager apologized to me since the worker (who had just got pretzel in his eye while cleaning - which I'm so sorry happened and hope they're all gravy) didnt have the side of cheese ordered and he admitted he may have given it to the wrong order. They were nothing but courteous, understanding, & a pleasure to deal with. Thank you again to the night crew who were willing to accommodate my rough night so we were able to eat a nice hot pizza and burritos for the night you guys keep doing your amazing job!”

“Hadn't been there in a couple years, so I tried the sweet & sour chicken, chicken fried rice and crab Rangoon a. All were delicious! They packaged the s&s sauce separate from the chicken so the chicken was still crispy. The fried rice has nice pieces of white chicken in it & not greasy at all. The Rangoon's had plenty of filling, unlike other places. All for under $25 & fed three people with a little leftover. Will definitely go back again! Atmosphere was same old same old, but appeared clean.”

“Really good bagels, plush, soft and cooked just right on the inside and shiny and lightly done thin hard shell on the outside. I can’t get good bagels in other states so I bought a couple and enjoyed them and I love the toasted bagel with cream cheese and lettuce tomato and onion. Perfectly done and I enjoyed every bite. This cream cheese bagel only cost me $3 so I can’t beat that. Thank you La Bagel. I would have given 5 stars if the person who made me the bagel wasn’t so gruffly and annoyed looking and was not friendly. He was fast and efficient but not pleasant.”

“My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out for some time and finally had a chance on Easter with the kids. Our initial thought of the interior when we walked in was that it was underwhelming. Nonetheless, we weren’t really there for the decor so much as we were there for drinks and food. Upon asking our waitress what alcohol they served, I was surprised in her response, which she informed us that they did not yet have their liquor license and therefore did not sell alcohol. At this point I was tempted to leave, but thought, well, let’s at least try the food. To our surprise it was “WOW”. Sure we didn’t have the alcohol (which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 out of 5), but their Green Mussel (Larger then the Black Mussel), Raw Oysters, and fried Calamari were equally as good as the San Pedro Fish Market Restaurant, and much closer. For our little ones we ordered chicken tenders which were large enough for our 3 and 4 year olds to share. They were also very good. All-in-All, great seafood, and I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to make the drive to Long Beach, San Pedro, or any coastline restaurants. Just keep in mind that this place serves NO alcohol. Update: We just revisited this location and they now serve alcohol, however, when we ordered on tap the drinks were room temperature. The waitress said they had just gotten the kegs the night before, which may explain why it was room temperature. Nonetheless, I’d have to go back and see if that improves. Food is still awesome, service is mediocre at best. My wife and I are typically very generous tippers, especially with great service. This time around we were never asked if we wanted refills or more drinks/food. We didn’t leave her a tip. Anyone in the service industry has to realize a tip is not mandatory, and is dependent on the level of service you provide to the customer. Anyway, great food… not so good service.”

“This place food is very good. The shrimp orders I have placed in the past, have all been very good and cleaned out. In other words, no shrimp poop in their veins. That's a good thing because I have been or have ordered shrimp from other restaurants that have not been cleaned out. Now that's nasty to have that on your plate ready to put in your mouth. At home we don't order from any other place around. Plus the food is good prices, not over priced like some restaurant around them.
