“When we want bbq ducks, we come here to get them, but they also have bbq duck wonton noodles that’s inexpensive and quite tasty. We think this has new owner because most of the old workers no longer there or at least we don’t see them. Before COVID we could sit down and have a very nice and inexpensive dinner with the family when we didn’t want to cook. The kids would order bbq duck with rice and I and my wife would order roasted duck noodles soups. My son loves the wonton noodles here since he doesn’t like roasted duck much. Everyone is happy when we sit down here. Now, there’s no dine in, only to go. Last week we decided to order to go, although we don’t believe in to go soups because by the time we got home it’s no longer hot. Anyhow, the BBQ duck and wonton were still tasty, the noodles cooked just right although the soup didn’t taste as good as before but still good. The price went up as everything else but still cheaper than a bowl of pho or any other soup bowls out there.”

The atmosphere is chill and super cool, the decor is on trend. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the customers happy is their main priority. We were amazed from the Mimosa Bar to the food buffet. The quality and taste of everything was outstanding and the presentation was amazing. I can't say enough about the entire staff. The owners Simon and Brie, the fantastic chef, Sam, and wonderful bartender Susie were all so attentive, anything we asked for was "no problem". At night, the bar comes alive with live music to enjoy along with fabulous food and drinks. We are so thrilled that we chose to have our celebration at The Lion and Eagle Pub!”

Operations can be slightly slower during peak hours but that’s less surprising at Starbucks locations that also have drive-throughs. Outdoor seating area is neat and usable. Indoor vibe is chill. Their Spotify playlist is quite good and not very loud. Coffee and pastries are standard quality. Plenty of parking next to the Starbucks. A couple of lanes for drive-through that doesn’t block the right lane of the road. Starbucks merch. is also available. Overall, one of the top 5 locations in Memphis.”

“Okay, so for our quest to find the best pizza we went to a little hole in the wall Corn crib Cafe, we wanted to try the pizza here because diamonds come from the most hidden places sometimes. We ended up getting a 16 inch specialty meat pizza. There was 6 of us and so this was how the ratings turned out. Crust was not greasy at all, plenty of cheese and decent amounts of cheese. The pizza had a comforting home taste. My daughters loved it and one gave a 5 on a one to 5 scale , 5 being the highest. The other daughter and I gave it a 4 good but not really something u would HAVE to have again. The men gave it a 3-4. So as you can see the pizza isn't bad, it really depends on what your looking for. The service on the other hand, I don't know if they were just tired by the time we got there but we didn't get silverware until 15 min in and that meant eating appetizers with forks. Only half of us got straws and had to say something twice before we got the rest of them. The pizza is why we gave the restaurant 4 stars. Not because of the service. They were also out of mac and cheese. The place is pretty clean so that is also a plus.”
