The Sea Salt Black Tea was too sweet for our taste, but you can ask for it to be less sweet. Everything else was absolutely amazing. I love the subtle sweetness of Asian desserts. “Boiling point has been one of my favorite hotpot places since our first tasted in Southern California in 2014. When we are craving for small hot pot, this is definitely our top place to go. For lunch you will get one drink for free(black or green tea), including weekend, which is very amazing. Their appetizer was not as impressive as the hotpot when we visited in November, 2021. We got House Special and Seafood & Tofu this time. House special has been a very classic and authentic Taiwanese small hotpot flavors. I like how Seafood & Tofu has lots of seafood instead of those typical hotpot seafood ball you would see in other places. They put too much white pepper in the soup base, so it tasted not as plain as I expected. Gladly they were able to add soup so it tasted a lot better after that. The white pepper was the main reason I gave 4 stars but overall it’s very good and tasty. Will definitely visit again.”

“When we arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday, we were the only people dining in, so the service was quick at first. We ordered a 10 piece buffalo wing to start and the wings came out fairly quickly. They were hot and crispy-fresh, and ended up being the highlight of the meal. As far as buffalo goes, they weren't too spicy which is fine for me. For the pizza, we got the "all about the meats" and it was just OK. The size is a good value for the cost. The cheese was good, sauce was very good, and there was a generous amount of toppings. The downside is that toppings were all stacked on top of the pepperoni (see the pic), so the pepperoni didn't get crispy at all. The dough tasted good but seemed a little thick because the top layer of dough that was under the sauce/cheese was on the verge of being undercooked. Edit: Eating my leftovers the next day, it was also definitely undercooked in areas under the "stacks" of toppings. Added another picture to show this. Our server was pleasant and we liked the atmosphere and music. There seemed to only be one server and she got busier and busier as more customers arrived over the course of our meal. I believe this is why my drink wasn't ever refilled, which was a little frustrating considering they charge 3.75 (!) for drinks when dining in. I don't really blame our server because there were other employees at the front desk and bar mostly just standing around who could've pitched in to do small things like refills. Overall the experience was pretty good and we would consider returning for the wings and to try something different like the garlic knots.”

“Such a cool spot!! Loved the interior and all the beautiful art. The music is on point and they play anime in the background. Was popping on a Friday night and still didn’t feel too crowded with how the seating is set up. The tonkotsu ramen was ok but the spicy miso ramen was AMAZING. Loved the thicker noodles and it was wonderfully spicy. We also enjoyed the black garlic ramen. Also one hundred percent recommend the Rayaki fries. So so tasty and delicious. Now for my standard covid comments as of March 2022. Again the interior was nice and clean. Seating arrangements are somewhat distanced. All staff members are wearing masks. Definitely a well kept and comfortable indoor experience.”
