“Came here with a couple of girlfriends for lunch. The medium Pizza is more than enough to feed two people. We had two different pizzas so we could try different ones. Both were absolutely delicious. “A Battello is a small boat often tied to larger boats and used to bring people back and forth from the shore. I’m not sure why this name was chosen and a lot of times I’ve passed their statue with the name under it and wondered what it was. I found out that it’s a real jewel on the Hudson in Jersey city. The first thing you’ll notice is that while the building itself looks small, the establishment is incredibly spacious, and well thought out. Very very clean. The staff is very courteous and professional. While sitting at the bar having a coffee I listen to the bar keep and a host discuss the wine, making sure it was chilled properly etc. very thoughtful. I liked that the customer doesn’t know that they’re working behind the scenes to make the moment nice. The view outside of Manhattan is incredible also and worth the visit if just to look at the skyline while having a Manhattan from the bar. It also looks like the beginning of some construction on a adjacent bit of land of which I’m hopeful it won’t obstruct the view. This is how a restaurant should be and I’ll write more when I have time to eat there.”

Mahi-Mahi sandwich was cooked perfectly, flaky but not dried out. Bun was too thick for my liking, so I didn't eat most of that. Fries were awesome. Had a hot dog from here while on the beach another day. Not worth the money, but tasted good. Nachos looked very good (heard they were amazing). Menu isn't huge, but has a great variety for all tastes. Could use a few more beers on tap. Can't beat the view here, that's for sure!”

“Best sushi rolls in all of Los Angeles. We always love the top secret roll which is the daily chef creation. The pornado isn't my favorite roll, but it's a must have for the experience 😂. Buy a roll get a roll 50% off and it's on weeknights but also from 12-5pm on Saturday and Sunday making it the perfect sushi lunch place on the weekends!!! Unfortunately to the point where you couldn't enjoy the rest of your meal due to burning your taste buds on that one broth! So my advice would be to do the not HOT broth, and and to your spice. I did that and it was a much more enjoyable meal. Luckily I hadn't put all my meal (noodles, meat, herbs and vegetables) in the HOT broth right away without testing it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it.”
