“If you are looking for a place that's quiet and fishing friendly this is it. Our 40 footer was an interesting park but was successful. Rear was almost over the water. I watched crabs, speckled trout and red fish do their thing from my back window. Rockport is close by and has everything you need. Ray the camp host is very helpful. Neighbors were also great. We will be back, soon.”

“This was the best KOA we've ever stayed at! The campground was well maintained and clean, they pick up your trash every morning. Two playgrounds, disc golf, a huge open green space for the kids to run and play. Pool area was very nice. Showers were very clean, laundry room was very nice. You can order food to be delivered to your campsite or poolside. Our site was big and I love how they put the fire rings in the ground with rock surrounding it. Little things like that make a huge difference. Overall very happy with our stay, we will definitely be visiting again!”

“We moved in December of 2019, just before the pandemic hit. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made for our selves. Our home is older but well maintained and still has a lot of good years left in it. When we purchased our home, management worked with the realtor to make the transition as easy as possible for us. Our neighbors are very pleasant. They are friendly, and will wave and say hello every time they see us. The overall feel of the park is genuine kindness. There is access to a swimming pool, a spa, clubhouse that has a kitchen, library, billiards/game room, laundry facilities for all residents. There is even a clothing facility where you can donate clothes or go to get different clothing. This park takes care of it’s seniors. During the pandemic, on two separate occasions the owners had groceries delivered to every home in the park, paid for out of the owners pocket. There is a bread delivery one day a week and grocery delivery one day a month. They have donuts and coffee in the clubhouse one morning a week, classes for different things, fun activities, movie nights, book club, and they are always looking for ways to make improvements in the park that won’t put a financial strain on the residents. They even have a monthly newsletter and spiritual services. I have lived in a lot of different places in my life and I can’t think of any place I would rather be than Golden Palms. Whenever we leave, I’m always happy to come home.”

“Cool. It has habitations and what not. I suppose you could probably live there if you gave whoever owns the place some kind of payment each month - or an outright trade for something higher in value. Maybe they'll barter for some emus or alpacas. Not sure though. Possibly some gently used pacaderms. Although, now that I think about it, they would probably prefer the United States Domestic currency instead as then they'd be able to use it to purchase or procure whatever they desire far easier. I like turtles.”

“I have lived in the RiverBrook Community for about 4 years now; and I like living in this community, because everyone seems so nice and friendly. The manager Sue & her staff, goes above & beyond to do whatever it takes to make sure her residents are happy & satisfied living here in RiverBrook. Whenever there is an issue with something, the staff is right on it, and the maintenance crew is out getting the job done! They are making sure the community is kept clean of garbage, clearing the roads in the winter; and Sue has also made it a point to repair a lot of the roads and driveways in the community as well! Your dedication and hard work for us as residents is definitely appreciated, and I thank you. Thank you to everyone at the office for making this community an enjoyable place to reside.”

“My grandma has lived here for over 10 years, it is a beautiful park. We love to walk down to the lake where we have seen geese, turtles and deer. They all were very nice and happy to show me a few of the homes. Sarah and Adam took me around the community showing all the amenities the community had to offer. It truly is a beautiful place and very welcoming. Even a few of the residents stopped to talk to us and told me how much they loved living there. Its in the top 3 places I have inquired about.”

“This location was our first use of the RV stop concept. We were very pleased with the amenities and size of the pad. We felt secure overnight and the noise level next to the truck stop was very good overnight. (We were in slot 19) The bathroom, showers and laundry area were unexpectedly very nice. The location worked for us and we were ok with the cost not to have to drive so far off the hwy for a full hookup. Email confirmation and reservation process was very easy.”
