“Have not been here very long but so far, the park looks very nice and is clean and well maintained. People in the office are nice and very helpful. Their pool is clean and park is quiet but not too far from town. Good fishing too! Prices are reasonable, especially having lake access sites. Note for long-term campers: missing a few amenities such as laundry services but there are places near by to go. There is no mail delivery here although you can receive packages at the office for pick up. I would recommend this park to all of my friends. Haven't had to worry about a thing since I got here.”

“Very nice place. Updated amenities. Free laundry and ice machine. Heated pool with hot tub. Grilling area by pool. Community fire and picnic area. Nice full trees to give that “in the woods” feel even though near the hwy. Hwy noise the closer you are to it. Very quiet park otherwise. Several long-term campers and cabins to rent also. Nice location near the Sam Houston National Forest for hiking or the lakes. Our stay was over a weekend.”

“I and my family have been coming to this campground for over 10 years, with RV's and/ or tent camping. We have generally always found the staff to be friendly, and the sites and grounds well kept. Pricing is reasonable, and the area is stunningly beautiful with easy quick access to the forest, river, trains, beach, etc. So the bathrooms are older, but they are clean and functional. Safe area for kids to ride bikes and go on hikes, plus they have a separate building next to the pool with ping pong, a pool table, and a few video games for the kids. We have enjoyed this spot with 3 generations of our family and will continue to come back.”

“First time to Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort... and DEFINITELY will not be the last! What a FANTASTIC first time experience. First off, the owners and all staff were SUPER friendly, always willing to answer my MANY questions about the resort, surrounding restaurants or basic RV needs. The paved roads that all interconnect made it ideal for our son to ride his bike and meet many other kids throughout the park. This is a GREAT family place to camp. We camped for two days after Christmas (it was REAL COLD) and found the convenience of staff delivering a fire pit and wood bundles (purchased for a small fee) was awesome! I cannot express how cool this place was and the staff was beyond helpful and nice! The bathrooms are nice and clean and you can tell they’re being kept up and even being renovated. Most sites are a good size and each site has sewer and electric hook ups. WiFi worked great as well. Summer will be a REALLY nice time to visit. We can’t wait!! See you soon SC Redwoods RV resort!”

“This is an inviting, quiet park with an excellent staff. The landscaping throughout the park is beautiful. There is a large grassy park area in the middle. They have pull through and back in FHU sites with plenty of room to fit our 45' fifth wheel, full size truck and our commuter car. We had a great experience and we will be staying here if we are ever in the area again.”

“There are no amenities like a clubhouse or on sight laundromat, but I love the atmosphere here. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the Metroplex. The lots are large. In most other RV parks I visited when I first moved to DFW, the RV's had around 5' of seperation. There is an abundance of trees which help block out the surrounding city noise. I love the "living in the country" feel of the place. The people that live here are courteous to each other. Catering more to the mature adult adds to the quiet, peaceful nature of the park. I have had nothing but friendly and courteous encounters with the manager, Betty.”

“Great Rv park even for class A 43 ft. The management keeps the place clean. some say bird poop is an issue? well birds like trees. if this is an issue for you buy a fake owl at any store put it were it can be seen and birds hate owls, you must move the owl weekly. this is a great place”
