“Have always loved visiting here but were stunned at how the new management has bamboozled the residents. Using their park as a guinea pig since they have never managed RV parks before...not asking their opinions before tearing down features that are in good shape and leaving them without for months when they said "only 3 weeks" for replacements or reconstruction. We really hate the new "cracker box" homes that have been brought in. I could go on but will finish on this note....how dare you structure their rent so they can no longer pay annually....of course it allows you to raise the rent throughout the year.....already twice!!! And it was 6 percent instead of the 3 percent you stated publicly. We are no longer considering moving there.”

“Quiet camping spot just about a mile from Homestead NHP. Along a creek/river so lots of wildlife and birds around. A few monthly campers but plenty of open pull-through sites, all full hookups. There are also tent sites and a small playset. Friend stayed in their AirBnB as well and said it was charming, like staying at Grandma's house. We stayed for 3 nights, would stay there again for sure. Very reasonable prices ($23/night for us).”

These guys said to drop off the unit with them & they would test it for us (what? The other place said they needed our whole rv with a/c connected to be able to test it & blah, blah, blah to think about getting us our money back) (see my Explore USA Rockport review for more info) Amazingly enough we (customer Jason Wyeth) were issued a refund not even 24 hrs later for the faulty unit we didn't even purchase there. “Came here from over 20 hours away and tried multiple campgrounds most didn’t answer or were 55+ resorts. Desert Oasis was recommended by a coworker so I drove out there. The parks staff did very prompt work of moving a few rigs around to make mine fit….the staff here is too notch and instantly made me feel at home. Dave and Brandy are model examples of what campgrounds need…many thanks you two we are very grateful”

“We had a great time at DVRVP. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We saw the owners & their team working hard to keep everything picked up over the holiday weekend. The kids loved the biking area and pool. The dog park area was clean and had fresh tennis balls. I really enjoyed walking down to the river with my morning coffee. It is very easy to see how much the owners care about their property. The easy access to the state park and Dinosaur World was just a bonus. We’ll definitely return.”

“We made reservations over the phone but when we got there, they said we didn't have any. However, they did still give us a spot. Spot 44 is in a weird space and the connections were shared but they also offered spot 2 which was better. The sewer connections were far so you may need to get a longer sewer hose. A bit of road noise but it wasn't bothersome at all. The spots are close and there are some full timers but I didn't see any sketchy people at all. It was fairly quiet. Best thing is, we were 4 minutes from the Hard Rock Casino and they have a shuttle service that will take you back and forth. We will stop here again for sure!👍🏽”
