Went to purchase a new smoker and was greeted at door with a welcome. Was approached in the outdoor cooking section and was informed of stock levels and options for pickup and delivery. Decided to purchase. Was shown all stick on hand and asked to choose the one I preferred. Checkout was simple and staff was pleasant. I have not had great experiences at other locations, but I'll check this one out in the future if I need to go to Academy.”

“This Ross has great selections whenever I go in. It is never messy always well put together in my opinion. But the line is always long and they never seem to have enough cashier's available. They seem to always want to help the return line before the long line of customers trying to buy stuff. Otherwise the lines being so long it is a great store to go into. Not like most other Ross' where there are more items on the floor then hanging on the racks or shelves. I will definitely keep shopping here. Plus this plaza has so much to offer lots of other things to do here. Good place to walk around.”

“I had an excellent experience shopping at this DSW location. I tried on a lot of different shoes in search of a style and size that fit me well. Having foot problems, I need a shoe that fits me well while providing me sufficient space in the toe box. I found a pair that I liked that was in stock, in my size. I wanted a second pair, same size but a different color. This second pair was not in stock in the store. When I went to pay for the shoes that I had in hand, I asked the lady behind the counter if I could order the second pair of shoes that I desired. The answer was yes, I could order the shoes and have them either delivered to my home or to the store for me to pick up. I wanted to place the order but there was a wrinkle in the process. I had a DSW coupon that with the purchase of 2 pair of shoes, I would get $20 off of the total price. The wrinkle was in the fact that the in stock shoe purchase and the ordered shoes needed to be wrung up separately. Without any reservations, my coupon was applied to both the in store purchase and the ordered purchase at a $10 savings on each sale. This gave me the $20 savings I was looking to receive. I left the store with 1 pair of shoes in hand and 1 pair on order. The pair on order would be arriving at my address in 4 to 7 business days. The ordered pair arrived in 4 days. The packaging was excellent and the contents were in perfect condition, a happy ending to my first DSW shopping experience. It will certainly not be my last. The staff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. As a consumer, this is what we are looking for in a shopping experience. Thank you DSW! I'll be back!”

My sister works in retail and I hear it all...Many associates, upon greeting a customer, get ignored or scowled at. Women like to shop at their own pace, so a good sales associate knows that, and unless her company is forcing her to greet everyone, you let the customer look and then you greet them unobtrusively when you see that they need help. Also, being a sales associate is one of the most tiring jobs there is, so please stop being such prima donnas with your 'after a long day at work' comments. Upon reading these comments, I fail to see horrible customer service, but what I do see is HORRIBLE women who would like to humiliate a fellow woman because of their superior attitudes. And if a store is closed, be CONSIDERATE to all that they have to do to close up shop (and it is a great deal) and **apologize**--don't judge, condemn and gripe about it!”
