“What a wonderful little jewel. We stopped here on a whim, and I'm so happy we did. My favorite 😍 animals are lemurs. They were sleepy babies hiding in their homes, but I loved seeing them anyway. The aviaries are really nice too. The cafe had a very pleasant menu. Do not fear the tea or desserts. The lavender flavor is pleasant and not at all perfumey. I make my own lavender honey 🍯 ice cream but theirs was better. Tyler was are server and he was a lamb! The lavender was not in bloom but it was still a fun little side trip. The gift shop had great things and the lavender salve is amazing. Definitely recommend.”

“Fast cat coffee is a new local gem that I have recently found. It’s right by the California family fitness on fair Oaks Boulevard near Manzanita and fair Oaks. Unlike anything else in town, the racing car and motorcycle vibe that has that rugged local fair Oaks feel. A place to fill up your engine before heading out on your day to hit it fast and hard. The coffee was smooth and did not taste burned. That tells me that it’s fresh. The pastries were fresh incredibly delicious. The service was friendly, informative, and swift. This place is definitely going to take my money over Starbucks going forward. I recommend this local Fair Oaks business as a must visit for local and out of town coffee goers looking for a new coffee spot.”
