Was told I could make it up once I found them and when I did finally was denied...kind of understandably though.. because it had been so long....but I still had to pay for the class. Oh well...lol. They were fair and the school is great. Being purely objective, I would recommend SWBC to anyone looking for a great college.”

Very up to date classes and equipment used for teaching as well. If your intrested in Medical Assisting or Phlebotomy i would recommend taking the MA with PHLEBOTOMY FULL PROGRAM including (Administrative Medical Assisting, Clinical Medical Assisting,Phlebotomy and a FREE EKG course) it will take you about 1yr. including 2 externships but it was well worth it you will have so many different job opportunities to apply for and areas in a clinic or hospital you can apply too. i don't take my NHAs until this year and I've had job offers and been on interviews already just based on my schooling and the experience in school i have gotten. in the end you will be certified and state licensed in 4 different hospital professions. which you will need as an MA in the future. “Yes it’s new and growing very fast, which means it’s fulfilling a need and it’s only going to get bigger. Yes it can be frustrating dealing with growing pains of a new university. That’s why you don’t see many new non for profit state universities. Don’t compare it to the larger more established universities, if you did then you would be the one in the wrong. That’s why it’s substantially cheaper than any state university I know of and it’s close to one of the strongest and wealthiest economies in the country. This place is a great opportunity for anyone wanting a degree in a small classroom environment for half the price of anything comparable. If you don’t like it go spend more time and money with larger class sizes at UTD or UNT Denton. UNTDALLAS is on the up and up.”

“GCC is a diverse and including campus. There are many teachers that go above and beyond their job responsibilities. These teachers really make the campus worth attending. I highly recommend using rate my professor and ask around to find the best teachers. On the flip-side there are some teachers that I would never recommend taking. The campus itself is very clean and easy to navigate. The size is smaller than Universities leading to an ease of transition to college life. The one thing the college can improve on is the lack of a defined student culture. The focus on clubs and student driven activities seem to be lacking compared to other campuses. Overall The campus is a very good and a great College to begin your education career!”
