Racine Zoo

Address: 2131 N Main St, Racine, WI 53402, USA

Zoo

“Probably the best little zoo in the whole Midwest. The zoo is big enough for kids to enjoy and small enough that they won't get over stimulated and tired. The price is very reasonable with rates of $4,for adults and $3 for children. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The animals are on display at all times and very close to the spectators. There is a walk about exhibit that allows people to have the animals come right up to them. Very fun and the view of lake Michigan alone is worth the price of admission.”

“Boat ride was fun! The guides do there best to make sure everyone on the boat gets to see the alligators when you happen to see one... they make the ride fun and have good jokes. Animal encounter was also worth it to see the animals up close.. we were told 5 animals and only got to see 4, however it was a great time. The gator show was also very fun and the guy was hilarious!”

Zoo Travel agency Park

“This was a fun experience that involved seeing an alligator up close. I wanted to pet it but used my better judgement. Having never been to the Everglades, I expected the air boat tour to feel more like I've seen on the Discovery channel but it was fairly flat and not a lot of above water vegetation. There is also a little exotic animal exhibit which was really cool. There is something about holding a baby alligator that is so cool! We saw plenty of other wildlife as well. Overall it was a good experience, maybe just a little more money than it was worth.”

Seminole Aerial Adventures at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanica

“This is a great way to have an adventure and great exercise at the same time. The staff is amazing. They are very informative and were able to alleviate any fears anyone in our party had. 5 stars. Myself, my family, and friends will definitely be returning. I'm considering the fun pass. This way I can make the course part of my exercise regiment. This really is a full body workout. Thank you ZoomAir staff for an amazing adventure.”

Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

Address: 3755 W Seminole Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Zoo

“Good place for a two hour visit. Its a good place to hang out with little kids. They have a train ride and a carousel at the entrance( need separate pay other than ticket). The walk is very relaxing and they have most animals (Giraffe, Tiger, cheetah, leopard, black bear, Rhino, Alligator, Crocodile, bald eagles, small monkeys, lemurs ,wild cats, otters, etc) which kids love. They also have a park inside. The pet zoo and Giraffe feeding will be interesting for little kids. Its not tiring at all. Loved it.”

Las Trampas Regional Wilderness

Address: Bollinger Canyon Rd, San Ramon, CA 94583, USA

Park Zoo

“Really enjoyable dishes and flavors. Attentive and knowledgeable waiter who kindly pointed out that two of our selections had very similar flavors so steered us to another dish. We ordered four dishes for three diners and it was more than enough food plus some leftover that we brought home. The night we dined was Le Cheval's last at this location in Walnut Creek, sadly closing due to rising rents in the area. Their downtown Oakland location is open and thriving. We all hope they return to Walnut Creek in the future even if in a smaller location further from downtown. In the meantime they will be missed.”

Poo bags are available so you can clean up after your dog. There are shaded benches for you to sit. It is lit at night. The park has playgrounds for the kids, picnic tables, and baseball fields. It is near Nellis Air Force Base, so at times we can watch the jets fly over.”

Plumpton Park Zoo

Address: 1416 Telegraph Rd, Rising Sun, MD 21911, USA

Zoo Park

“They have brought back their Zoo Lights experience in 2018 which was pretty cool. It was an opportunity to see the animals at night. Many of the animals are mobile at night rather than laying in a corner of their cage. They feed the tigers in front of you at this specific event which is cool but the highlight was the giraffe house. They had cookies and hot chocolate available there along with zoo keepers and volunteers to answer questions about the animals. My only complaint is, I wish they had more lights in some areas so we could see better.”

Zoo Chateau

Address: 21050 Indian Head Rd, Golden, CO 80403, USA

Zoo

“Nice intimate experience with kangaroos. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is a cap to the number of participants and the amount of granola you can feed the roos which was nice. Shows they genuinely care about the animals. Would definitely recommend checking it out. The facility itself was very nice”

Stone Zoo

Address: 149 Pond St, Stoneham, MA 02180, USA

Zoo

“At some point, I convinced myself to check out the Stone Zoo. They had a special for those wearing Patriots Attire. I didn't have any but wrote "Go Pats" on my collarbone with an eyeliner and crossed my fingers. The attendant was not impressed with my artistic expression of loyalty to our New England team. She had to go ask if this was allowed. As it was 2:30 and the zoo is closing in 90 minutes, maybe they decided to give me a break. Giddy, I trampled in with my bad eyeliner tattoo. 90 minutes was actually enough time to get around the space though 2 hours would have been better. I take my time at the zoo looking at all the animals. Favorites were the bats, an orange monkey swinging around with her baby, the brown bears, and the snow leopard babies. They were playful and active. Some of the animals looked sad and desolate, but that's just how most zoos are. For a small zoo this was a nice place to visit.”

“We visited the Houston zoo for the first time in about 15 years. They have made so many improvements and are still adding more exhibits. We are looking forward to seeing the new Texas wetlands exhibit, it will open this summer. We had a 9 and 15 year old with us and they enjoyed it too. The little elephant Tilly, entertained us with her playing in the mud. We can't wait to visit again.”
