“We stayed in one of the small cabins with our two toddlers for an event and we had a great experience. The cabin was cozy and it was great to have a mini fridge and private bath with our little ones. The bed and pillows were also really comfortable. The grounds were great and had plenty of room for a variety of outdoor and indoor events going on at the same time. The owner was really great and we enjoyed the on site pizza place. We are looking forward to coming back again and checking out some more of their events.”

“I absolutely loved my two-hour ride with my guide Theresa. Two hour rides are $70 and you get a beautiful ride through the hills of their property. There are some steep uphills and downhills to make the ride fun. Theresa is an excellent guide and I felt relaxed and safe. Great for all experience riders. I’ve already recommended to anyone asking for a great place to ride!”

“I absolutely love this place!! I've never stayed at an rv park before now, and won't accept anything less than this fer sure now! The property is well kept, water pressure is superb, plenty of yard space for kids to play, and more yard to walk the dogs. Let's move on the their "Common Room", they have 4 washers and 4 dryers. And not no little itty bitty washers and n dryers, but some big very good working ones!!! I can't say for the women's, but the men's restroom is Big, clean, 2 sit down stalls, 2 stand up stalls, and 3 or 4 showers!! When you shut the shower door you have a little changing room, before entering the shower. Really nice!!! And really HOOOT water!!! I love it!!! They have a patio area if ya wanna hang out, and a microwave also in the common room area. It is all locked by keypad, so you don't have to worry about random people in there. The sunsets are beautiful, and when the clouds are gone you can see a bunch of beautiful stars!!! Did I say I love this place!?!?!? Lol, but really! If you're coming into town for a couple days, or a couple months, call these folks today!!! Also sometimes see some deer come thru the back corner.”

“We really love this little campground along Hwy 21 above Idaho City. Mores Creek runs alongside the campground and has pools you can sit in to cool down on a hot summer day. Plenty of shade at most sites and brush/trees between sites allows a lot of privacy. Reservations are easy online.”

“After reading some of the reviews we were hesitant on going to the point we called and questioned what was going on up there. We got the answers we wanted. We arrived and was greeted like old friends. We couldn't ask for a better weekend. The pool was awesome! Our grandson had the best time. The food at the snack bar was very reasonable priced and tasty. Our campsite was clean and level. The whole campground was very well kept and in order. I very much enjoyed my stay and planning to go back soon.”

“Only doing 4 stars because the noise and just screaming of the other campers went on all night (9pm- 4am) I don’t care much for having a good time and taking in cold one around camp fire but this was ridiculously loud and really sucked. Also a bit disappointed that they were right off the highway and not secluded like we expected. The tent itself was nice and very comfortable for the 4 days we stayed. Only recommend to the people that don’t care for the screaming and yelling between 9pm - 4pm!”

“Stayed here for a weekend, overall great experience. The other residents of the campgrounds all seemed friendly and sociable, making the grounds feel very homey and welcoming. Certain pets are also welcome. Several tiers of cabins are available to rent with varying amenities in each. There are also golf carts to rent out, and maps available, to make getting around the campgrounds much easier. At the north end of the grounds are around 20 acres of walking trails, a lot of which seemed to be filled with overgrown grass and other small plants, so exploration beyond the more obvious trails is highly encouraged to make the absolute most of them, but be sure to stay safe! There are also two options for swimming: an indoor heated pool with a sloped floor to provide different depths for easy family use, and a small portion of a lake. Additionally, outside of the swimming boundaries of the lake, small watercraft can be used, with some available for rental. Please review the campgrounds website, as there are further details on their policies regarding pets and firewood, among other things.”

“Water was very low. Marina closed due to covid. All in all good day. Went thru lock & dam to sand beaches. Stopped at dock bar in Evansville & had shots & bought six pack & enjoyed a rock & roll band.”

“Interesting place to stay. The lake is accessible from a few spots with a nice beach and pavilion area. The campground is fairly disconnected from the water and bathroom facilities. Depending on which side of the strip you were on you needed a minimum of 30 feet of sewer hose. Back to back Campers share a single pedestal with 50 amp plugs and water/sewer. Typically noisy parties on the weekends. Monthly rates. Definitely recommend having a water softener if staying any length of time.”

“Pricier than other campgrounds in the area but great fun for the family. They have a very cute shop with everything you need, are minutes from town, and have nice full-hookup spots. Amenities include a bouncy pillow, swimming pond with giant floating slides, bikes/tricycles for rent, playground, giant chess, and more. Plus, the train for the amusement park comes through in the summer to pick people up to go - there's also a great walking path straight to the amusement park gates!”

“I gave this 5 stars. Its a simple campground with showers, and electricity. I I went on a blustery 8 degree night followed by a 40 degree day. I hiked six miles, and it was so much fun. Everything is close by, everyone was friendly, it was absolutely beautiful.”

“I hadn't been tubing on the Apple River in a decade and wanted to share the experience with my wife and kids who had never been there before. We went on a Tuesday morning and it was amazing. First, the staff was very friendly and helpful, which was appreciated. The whole float down the river was so peaceful and quiet, unlike the weekends. We didn't see another tuber the entire river! When we got to the end, a staff member was there to cut the ropes on our tubes and we had a nice short ride back to our car. I was very pleased with River's Edge as I hadn't tubed with them before but will certainly tube with them again!”

“Great campground we found in a pinch while on the road home to Philly. Was going to book their pet friendly cabin called “the box,” but it was already booked so we just tented. The tenting area is located by a pond. The sounds of the frogs at night was lovely. Would definitely recommend.”

“I moved here for what was supposed to be a few months, while building on my property. 7 months later, I am finding it hard to leave! Whether you are looking for a weekend get away or a long term stay, please give them a look. The hosts are amazing, always there to lend a hand and create a great experience. The cantina is awesome to sit and read a book, or watch the Herons fish. You can cook up a meal, potluck with other RVers, or have a pizza party in their new pizza oven. The ranch has plenty of room for kids to explore or take your dog for a walk. The sunsets are spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough. I would stay forever if I didn't have a house to move into!!”
