“A good gym with friendly staff. The place is constantly being cleaned. There’s plenty of machines to use and they are all easy to use, the machines here are better than most of the other gyms I’ve been to. Gym culture here isn’t bad. People like to record themselves and don’t record others. The people here are also very mindful of other peoples space. Nobody here hogs all the dumbbells or all the attachments. it does get really crowed after 5pm tho so I best recommend going before 5. Gym might be intimidating for new people but you can always use the free personal trainer that comes with ur membership.”

“I highly recommend Functionally Fit for Life! I've had the opportunity to attend Mike's evening group class since January 2022. His focus on stretching and mobility work prior to the start of each class is so helpful because I sit at a desk all day. He paces his class to the level of strength and stamina of each person while taking care of individuals that might need alternate exercises due to outside injuries/recovery. He is thorough in explaining each exercise and happy to clarify any direction of what to do. If you attend a group class with Mike, you'll notice the brief conversations he'll have with his regulars while also guiding his new students and listening for feedback and giving extra guidance when needed. Since attending his classes, I've seen such an improvement in my strength and flexibility. It's so great seeing the progress I've made over time and it makes me happy to see others working towards their health goals as well. Functionally Fit for Life is a fantastic fitness program provided in the quiet town of Borrego Springs. “Decent-sized space for a P-Fit. Although not the largest, it certainly has all of the equipment and machines you typically find and well-kept. Most important, this place is CLEAN and pretty well ventilated. My only gripe is the lighting can be improved, especially in the locker rooms/bathrooms. Not sure why the place is so dim. Otherwise, it's a great gym to do your thing - get in and work out. Typical of Planet Fitnesses, it's not a place for serious powerlifters, but is perfect for the average gym goer.”

“What better way to start the weekend than with yoga on the beach?! Libby is a wonderful instructor and her classes are perfect for all levels. They usually begin with some stretching, move into a gentle vinyasa flow, and end with a luxurious savanna. Libby does a nice job explaining all of the postures and often shares some inspirational quotes throughout the class. I always leave feeling completely blissed out and ready for a wonderful day! Bring a blanket and look for Libby with her tripod (she live streams the classes if you can’t make it to the beach)! 🧘🏼♀️ ☀️💖☺️”
